Umbilical Noose is a rather scary typeface. It is quite similar to an older font of mine: Nyctophobia. An original text and display type family was designed for ParaType in 2007 by Manvel Shmavonyan. The face was named after the designer’s wife. Obrigado means 'Thank You' in Portuguese. It is my way of saying thanks to the unknown designer of a Portuguese port-wine poster from the thirties. Obrigado font is based on that poster. Kamryn is an updated overhaul of an earlier project. This version retains a distinct retro look with swashes and rounded serifs.
