A Roman typeface with emphasized triangular serifs. A font like this one could have been designed in 18th century France. To some extent, Auxerre is a precursor of “Etienne,” which later became popular as an advertising typeface of the 19th century. Auxerre is available in five font weights: light, regular, semibold, bold and black. Auxerre supports Western and Central European languages including Scandinavian languages. Plus, the font includes lots of ligatures, tabular figures as well as a “Capital German Double S.” Auxerre fits perfectly with any topic related to the past two centuries. A tessellation is a shape that can be used to completely fill the plane—simple examples are isosceles triangles, squares, and hexagons. My friend in the Czech Republic sent me a card with some hand lettering that was similar to this tall headline font. It has a funky yet elegant appearance. Works nice for Art Deco too.

A while back I created a nice font called Harimau. It is a childish font, with a happy feel to it. Harimau had some unusual glyphs, most notably the 'g' and the 'j', which, for some designers, were a little too unusual. Therefore I have created a new font based on the old Harimau: it is similar, but comes with 'normal' glyphs.

Dime Store is a font inspired by childhood memories of dime stores in downtowns and shopping malls in the 1970s. The font was tweaked and digitized by Bob Alonso, who also digitized Breauhare’s Cooper Goodtime font. Dime Store is a cool, hip, nostalgic way of creating a decorative display, and at times it seems to have a slightly futuristic look, too.

Conspired Lovers is based on five years of love-letter writing. A font to capture the intentions of love letters more than any other font. How did the Project start? In the last five years I wrote love letters with two persons. I became used to the joy of handwriting with ink and nib on fine paper. Through practice a experimentation my style continuously refined. As life moves on, suddenly I found myself with no one to write love letters to. It's a luxury to have someone to write letters to. Missing the joy of writing and listening to Gregory Porter’s “Be Good”, the decision was made to take this 5 years of writing and make this dance on paper a font. In English folklore (in particular that of Yorkshire and Lancashire), Grindylow is a creature that dwells in rivers and lakes and is said to grab children who come too close to the water’s edge and drown them. It is thought the name Grindylow may be connected to the monster Grendel. Grindylow font does not grab children; it is a rather messy handmade brush font. I used a cheap brush and Chinese ink to create the glyphs. Comes with discretionary double letter ligatures for the lower case.

This is Alter Littera’s first original design. The font has been created by attempting not to reproduce any historical typeface in particular, but only to re-create the overall forms and style of classic black-letters from different time periods and places. Kamerik 205 is inspired by the classic, geometric sans-serifs such as Futura and Avant Garde, but has shallower ascenders and descenders for a more compact look, and features a traditional double-storey lower case a and g. It's a versatile, modern sans, highly legible as a text font and with a clean, elegant look as a display font at larger sizes. It includes old style non-aligning (lower case) numbers, both proportional and tabular as well as accented characters for Central European languages. The Kamerik 205 family comprises of six weights, and is closely related to Kamerik 105. Rolling gemstones… The name "Eris" is again borrowed from Greek mythology, is related to the myth "the apples of Hesperides" which were gold and one of them got the Erida!!! More about this myth can be found on the web... And in this font (as in one section in the "Cyceon" font) I have mixed in the lower case with the capitals in many letters.I tried here to give a different illustration in lowercase letters, simply because of whims or because the monotony is tiring me!!! One can also mix here with two levels to get a third color depiction using the “ErisPro-Black” with “ErisPro-Strap” or “ErisPro-BlackIt” with “ErisPro-StrapIt” This series is composed and includes twenty-four fonts with 658 glyphs each, with true italics and supports Latin, Greek and Cyrillic.

Cowhand is a display typeface designed by Toshi Omagari to keep words at one specific width. Words of one letter will have one very wide character, words of two letters will have characters of half that width and so forth. At the maximum of 20-letter words, characters become very tightly compressed. The design of the Cowhand typeface is inspired by western style block printing with reverse stress that is characterised by chunky slab serifs. This Lite version of the typeface was designed as part of a font marathon over the course of 3.5 days in Monotype’s NY office.
