Footlight is a highly distinctive face which began life as an italic. The designer then went on to produce the roman weights. It is unusual to draw the italic version first but this was done to impose a calligraphic influence on the face, and the slightly hand drawn feel remains evident in FootlightÆs roman version. The Footlight font family is of considerable versatility and charm, its originality makes it the perfect choice for advertising and magazine typography.

Forbes consists of one bold weight and is an alphabet in the style of the bold English slab serifs, as made evident by its flexed serifs. This style first made its appearance in the 19th century. Carta is a map font designed at Adobe by Lynne Garell in 1986. Carta's development began with the study of a variety of maps from sources such as the U.S. Geological Survey and National Geographic. A diverse set of symbols, Carta can be used in city planning, travel, socio-economic, and survey maps.

A geometric design, published in Rick Poynor’s Typography Now 1 (Booth-Clibborn Editions, London UK,1991). Discussing these kinds of angular styles, the critic Rick Poynor noted that "fate has overtaken the angular post-constructivist type design of Neville Brody, Zuzana Licko and Max Kisman". Poynor described a process by which typefaces, once “fresh, unexpected, precisely attuned to the moment”, get used increasingly often in less and less appropriate contexts and end up looking "irredeemably passé". Pomerans is a redo of an old font of mine called Suco De Laranja. Since the original font had a citrusy name, I decided to name this reincarnation Pomerans, which means ‘Seville Orange’ in Dutch. I doubt that there are many Dutch people who actually know what a pomerans is! Pomerans is a handmade, all caps font. I kept the look and feel of the original font, but I cleaned up the glyphs, added new glyphs and added additional language support (including Vietnamese and Sami).

Almanach is a multifunctional, sans-serif font, suitable for a wide range of applications. The universality is it’s strength, but it is not impersonal. It’s character can be felt in the delicately softened endings of letters and in the dancing numbers. The italics is designed in compliance with the rules adequate to the italian sherif typefaces. This is particularly evident in the Cyrillic script, where a lot of characters have a different form than their upright counterparts. Almanach looks familiar. You will surely hit it off.

This sans serif font carries the flair and mood our Schneidler Latein font family. The calligraphic appearance and the human sound are evident thanks to the preservation of some significant broad edged pen elements. The forms are reduced to the subtle level where they are simplified, but the essence still remains. The expressive and artistic expression of the Schneidler Latein continues to work like a background melody. Together they build a superfamily that works perfectly in combination with each other.
