Merengue Script is the second typeface designed by Panco, once again together with Ale Paul, who supervised the whole development. In this opportunity, the process of shape research and the systematization of signs led him to dive into new waters. The objective was to generate a system of signs in which the construction of such was not directly bound to traditional calligraphy, nor to texts typography. Instead, the point was to create signs inspired in “Brush pen” calligraphy but with their main features drawn or literally illustrated. The result was a font with personality, authenticity and uncommon formal aspects that make Merengue Script an interesting, highly attractive and rather unusual font. From the very beginning, the search was based on creating a font with weight and good presence in big formats, but, at the same time, efficient for brief texts of small formats. The aim was to make it usable mainly in candy, sweets and chocolate packaging. The predominance of round shapes, harmonious modulations and funny and friendly-looking visual rhythms spark a special effect in the usage of Merengue Script. Texts are enhanced with an interesting visual charm, capable of transforming a very simple text into a virtual illustration that semantically reinforces the messages in a simple way, without putting legibility at risk. Jubilee is a glyphic font family with moderate stress, slightly inclined serifs, and storied history. Its original design was created in 1934 by famous English type designer Eric Gill for the Stephenson Blake type foundry. The development name was “Gill Text,” but this was changed to “Cunard” once the famous steamship company showed interest in using the typeface. The company, however, never utilized it. Stephenson Blake changed the name to Jubilee in 1935 to commemorate George V and Queen Mary’s Silver Jubilee Wedding Anniversary announcement. After International TypeFounders, Inc. acquired the exclusive rights to the Stephenson Blake collection, Paul Hickson (P&P Hickson) and Steve Jackaman (ITF) revived the family exclusively for the Red Rooster Collection in 1994. Inspired by an old matchbook which read: "Chop Suey: Finest Chinese and American Cooking". Chop Chop recreates that matchbook printed feel with soft rounded edges on what one would normally expect to be a sharp and pointy typeface. The typeface has two versions of each capital form, one in the capitals and one in the lowercase positions. The Contextual Alternates feature auto-magically swaps every other character with the alternative version allowing you to easily type you message, while creating a little diversity as well.

Chapman is the result of spending too many hours staring at the often all-capital engraver typefaces from long-gone foundries. The wide serifs, high contrast, and various widths seem to have so much character but also remain so neutral. From these references, Chapman began to emerge. It seemed natural that the lowercase would be based on a Scotch Roman model, much like the original all-capital faces. Chapman does not pull directly from any one source but from the genres themselves. It was, from the beginning, the goal to create a typeface that would be relatively neutral but not boring; an adaptable solution that works anywhere and, depending on the chosen width, can be squeezed or stretched to fit anywhere. The idiosyncrasies of the original designs are tamed in some places and turned up in others. The result is something familiar but unique and contemporary.

This pseudo-Egyptian fantasy originally was named Karnac, and was unearthed in the pages of the 1888 American Type Founders Specimen Book. This version derives it name from a continuing character from Johnny Carson's stint on the Tonight show. The cover of the 1929 sheet music from the First National/Vitaphone picture “The Girl from Woolworth’s” had its title (“Someone”) hand lettered. This single word title was the model for Store Clerk JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions as well as solid and solid oblique versions (without an inline). Graúna is Typeóca’s first ‘serious typeface’. The idea was to produce a revival of Block Heavy, removing the ‘rough’ texture from its outline. Though other revivals existed, most of them approached the Block family as a whole, leaving aside the idiosyncrasies that make the Heavy weight so unique. A new font inspired by vintage hand-painted paper grocery store signs. The Doorbuster Collection is based on retro hand-painted paper signs primarily seen in grocery stores from the 1920s through the 1970s. We meticulously hand-drew each font, modeling the spacing and uneven baseline found in vintage sign painting. Castellar is a capital letter typeface from John Peters, named after a location in the Alps. It first appeared in 1957 with Monotype. Peters modelled the design on the Roman script Scriptura Quadrata as it was used in the first two centuries of the Roman Empire. One distinguishing characteristic is the quadratic proportions of many letters, which are however mixed with circular and narrow forms. The original script was called Scriptura Quadrata because the ancient engravers used rectangular stone plates for their work.
