In 1936, Erich Mollowitz designed a typeface named »Rheingold Kräftig« for the German type foundry J. D. Trennert & Sohn (Hamburg-Altona). Here’s a revised and updated version of one of my oldies, based on the typeface Chic, designed by Morris Fuller Benton.
