Gold is all new for 2021, the complete family has been rebuilt using the multiple masters technique. In this new version we've removed any alternatives that could not be shared across all weights in the family and we've trimmed a few others that just were not practical in keeping a consistent look to the whole font. All the alternates now have matching accented glyphs across all weights. Case sensitive forms have also been added to all weights. With 14 weights the difference between weights are closer together which may give you the effect of a variable font where variable fonts are not supported. For technical reasons the original Gold family has now been split into two families with Gold having ten weights and the four heavier weights under the Gold Magnum family. My name is Teruyoshi Matsui. I live in Japan. I am a Brush Artist. I artistically write the letters of the alphabet with a Japanese brush. I have created the font “ BrushType Longhand”. It was originally named "BrushType Alternative". But I changed my mind before it was completed. At first I aimed at an alternative font. But while I was trying to make it alternative, I realized that it was not. Of course there are many alternative letters that you have never seen before among them, so you have to be careful using the font. If you are a progressive and defiant designer trying to discriminate against others' designs, you should own my font "BrushType Longhand". Be ambitious! This is the word I will give you. I am ambitious ,too. No one in the world creates brush fonts like me. I am the only one as a Brush Artist though no one knows. I will be a world artist some day. Delphi grew from a logotype Lily Feinberg produced using Greek-column-inspired letterforms. As that concept expanded to include more and more letters, the typeface had its beginnings. Intertwined, kinetic, and deliberate, Delphi carves itself onto the page and screen, encouraging variation and experimentation. The letterforms’ unique construction and predispostion for experimentation inspired two varying sets: Delphi Dio, comprised of two-line strokes, and Delphi Tria, built of both 2- and 3-line strokes. Billowed is a typeface family inspired by a simple shape that tessellates in three different ways: in a single orientation, in two orientations, and in four orientations. The shape resembles a billowing sail, with two concave edges that are adjacent and two convex edges, also adjacent. Forcing letters into this template shape results in some oddly shaped letters, but the result should not be judged by individual letters but by how the words and strings of words appear. Billowed was designed as an alternating-letter font in which two sets of characters alternate. The alternating is done automatically in applications that support the OpenType feature contextual alternatives (calt). To get the ripple pattern not just horizontally but also vertically, lines should alternate between the right and left styles and leading set to the same value as the font size. Billowed is monospaced with tight letter spacing to accentuate the ripple pattern. The family includes outline styles that can be used in a layer above the solid style to add color. Undulate was not designed for any particular use but as a challenge to fit letters into a particular geometric shape. The unusual patterns that result are eye-catching and may be useful for advertising or signage and in other places where one wants attention-grabbing lettering.
