The typeface was designed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1991 by Vladimir Yefimov. Based on Anons by Gennady Baryshnikov. An extra condensed sans serif. For use in advertising and display typography. The decorative styles were added in 1997 by Alexander Tarbeev.

Quebra Expa (Expanded) is an extend display sans-serif font family, available with four widths (Extra Condensed, Condensed, Normal and Expanded) and ten weights, italics versions are available. The main strokes contain small breaks simulating modulated variations on the letterforms, these details are more present on large body sizes. Kilburn is a no-nonsense, condensed Gothic sans-serif. For over a century the condensed sans-serif has been the 'go to' font for gravitas and authority. Kilburn continues in the fine tradition of fonts such as Franklin Gothic, News Gothic and Trade Gothic offering a contemporary interpretation of the condensed sans-serif — functionality with personality. Equally at home as both a text and display font, Kilburn is available in five weights from Thin through to Black.

Hand Gothic is a condensed typeface with a hand-lettering feeling, available in two weights. The fonts, provided in OpenType format, include support for most European languages and some OpenType extras : ligatures, alternate “A” and “g”, case-sensitive forms and a handful of arrows and icons.

Fishmonger originated from a commission of two fonts for the corporate identity of a fishmonger shop. When sketching the elementary principles for the lettering, the idea for a modern, extensive font family with a large number of styles was born. The first step consisted of defining the range of widths and weights. Then the master design Medium Regular was completed. The next step was adjusting the Extra Condensed Thin, the Extra Condensed Bold, The Extra Extended Thin and the Extra Extended Bold weights, as they are the vertices of an imaginary square map of the face. This meant that, in order to achieve a harmonious result, the x and y axis needed to be defined. From top to bottom, from the widest to the most condensed cut, the proportions are linear. However, from light to black, the line curves gently, allowing lesser difference between the light cuts, and a dramatic one between the heavier cuts. To ensure the original parameters were respected each position on the vertex was checked against the Medium Regular. After sorting out the ideal set-up, the remaining characters of each of the weights were drawn, and the remaining cuts were interpolated according to the principles above. Fishmonger is a functional, clean design, free of any buoyant, ornamental shapes, almost minimalist. Maybe this is what lends the type family its unique appearance.

Retro style is hip, so are early 20th century poster fonts. Size is based on these extra condensed letter forms. In the 19th century the need to communicate commercial messages on limited poster space brought up extremely condensed fonts creating a new typographical look. Since not really legible in small sizes these fonts nearly disappeared with the change in the commercial communication in the 20th century. For a couple of years now, these extra condensed fonts have a revival copying the exact historical appearance of its predecessors. Size, though also seeking the inspiration in the historical draft, furthermore aims to interpret this compressed look in a more vivid way by not closing in on the open counters of the round letters, but having its stroke endings slightly curved. Since other characters are defined by straight strokes, Size displays a look more vital and candid, but still distinct, compared to its historical predecessors.

Originally created in 2014 but redesigned and improved in 2020, Remah Pro is an eclectic and versatile sans serif font family consisting of 5 weights, from extra light to extra bold with its respective condensed. Bay Tavern is the first weathered version of our Tavern font that's based on Algerian. With three weights, open faced and outline versions to choose from you're sure to find the right style for your new project, restaurant menu, logo, t-shirt design or Pirate costume party. Bay Tavern includes all the same alternates as our regular Tavern font family. While our original Tavern font has been increased to include five weights additional weights for Bay Tavern will have to wait for now, adding the notched cut in's were all done by hand which causes a lot of cramping so a long break is needed before creating the extra weights. Gilmore Sans Extra Bold Extra Condensed Titling is a sans serif typeface that was inspired from early designs by the renowned English typographer Eric Gill. It was designed in 1992 by A. This Art Deco-inspired face is based on the Baltimore Type Foundry’s Tourist Extra Condensed. Graceful and elegant, this typeface’s compact design also packs a lot of information into very little space. This font contains the complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252) plus support for Central European (Unicode 1250) languages as well.

Two word examples (“nice” and “bud”) from the J.G. Cooley & Co.’s Specimens of Wood Type catalog for the typeface ‘Roman Triple Extra Condensed Fifty Line’ offered only seven letters to work with.
