One of the earliest fonts published by Canada Type was Almanac, Phil Rutter's digitization of Imre Reiner's 1957 calligraphic typeface, London Script. Firas, designed by Abbas Al-Baghdadi in 2005, is a traditional Kufi and a winner in Linotype’s first Arabic Typeface Design Competition. Behrens Initialen is based on the type graphics of the German architect and type designer Peter Behrens (1868-1940).
