HenHouse is an offbeat comic sans-serif typestyle full of wonky bounce. Inspired by the 1962 Merrie Melodies cartoon titled “Mother was a Rooster”, this typeface has all of the spunk of its source. The end result, a lively tribute to its origin, easy to read and fun to look at, a perfect typeface for childrens' books, advertisements, and playful designs!

Fruehling, first released by the Klingspor Brothers foundry in 1914, is a rather calligraphic blackletter font designed by Rudolf Koch. This font was completely redrawn and redesigned for contemporary usage. The font comes with old-style figures, and the letters d, e, g, n, and t have swash variants. It is recommended to use also the OT feature Discretionary Ligatures.

Whenever I went to use Bodoni I could never quite find a version I was happy with, so I designed my own incorporating, hopefully, the best of all the others. I decided to make a slight curve on the uprights, rather like Optima, because I thought this added touch of elegance which many of the others lacked....hence the name.

That’s what people call ‘an experimental typeface’. Yes it is! It consists in letterforms designed in very strict geometrical parameters. I was not thinking about ‘reading’ when I’ve drawn this typeface — rather on different way of projecting our mental image of the words. Do not try to set a book with this type, please! One single version, one single font designed in 2000.

A set of oil board stencils from Great Britain (probably from the 1950s) was the model for Sussex Semi Stencil JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. Because many of the characters are ‘solid’ rather than containing the breaks [known as ‘islands’] of a traditional stencil letter, this is why the type design was given the ‘semi stencil’ designation.

Rahman font is based on the idea of reflecting the personality of the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman in a typeface design. This sans serif font shows the founding father of Malaysia as a modern, simple, open-minded, uncomplicated and straightforward person. The font is suitable for posters, labels as well as book covers and paper printing.

Malkiya is a strange font that stands out for its versatility. His personality develops through his particular modulation, which grows with load; making it a rather jovial typeface that doesn't abandon the more whimsical characteristics of the classic. I like the expression ‘being on tenterhooks’. Not that I’m on tenterhooks very often! Tenterhooks was made with a broken satay skewer (see poster 2 for the actual thing) and Chinese ink. It came out rather rough, but it does have a nice flow and a certain ‘wild elegance’. Comes with double letter ligatures and a whole bunch of diacritics.

Ardalos is a modern brush font, a contemporary approach to design, rather having a slight texture on the edges of the letters and this font also has an underline that makes your design more attractive. Suitable for use in title designs such as clothing, invitations, booklets, stationery designs, quotes, branding, logos, greeting cards, t-shirts, packaging designs, posters and more.

Counting four variations for each letter and two for the numbers, Felt Noisy delivers a cool organic feel with a strong and spontaneous ​​ attitude. The typeface was drawn with a bad felt tip pen​ and resulted in two rather nice fonts that will stylishly fit many visual projects out there that don't look for any transparency at all. Give it a go!

ITC Dinitials is the work of German designer Helga Joergensen. When I started drawing the first of them, I was very much inspired by dinosaurs, but during the work my fantasy guided me more and more and then became rather fabulous creatures." ITC Dinitials is a capital letter alphabet available in both black on white and white on black weights."

Edil Script is a hand-drawn connected script with the use of a Medium Point Calligraphy Pen on a textured paper. This typeface has 380+ glyphs with great legibility and it is available in TrueType Font. Edil Script is a tribute to my father who taught me how to draw at a very young age and the person behind my passion to draw.

Elina continues the series of graceful calligraphic typefaces by Natalia Vasilyeva that partially imitate broad pen drawings. The family consists of two styles -- normal and decorative. Decorative style contains characters ornamented with thin strokes that add a beauty and charm to the design. The fonts can be used in display matters, advertising and celebration texts. Released by ParaType in 2011.

Enovella is a cool and modern Sans Serif font. writing for a magazine that requires a lot of text is the strength of this font. easy to read, and not tired on the eyes. Eurydome is one of Jupiter's many moons, and was named after Eurydome, the mother of the Graces in Greek mythology. Eurydome was inspired by the Grotesque face Venus, with an additional flair added to the lowercase a, b, d and g. Eurydome was designed to complement any display face that may be used in your project. Add grace to your layout, with Eurydome.

Grafiker means 'Graphic Designer' in German. This fat, colored, uneven font with a 1001 uses was loosely based on the work of designers Oskar Kokoschka (1886 - 1980) and Jean Carlu (1900 - 1997). The glyphs were hand-drawn with a 0.5 roller ball and colored in with Chinese ink, using a stiff brush. The result is a lively, rather unusual font.

Rum Plakat is a display type developed as a display face within the type family »Rum« Rum Plakat is an alternative version of Rum Soft Sans Black. Letterpress Extras JNL gathers more re-drawn images from the rich trove of vintage letterpress cuts. There's plenty of pointing hands and decorative ornaments, a few cartoons and some assorted miscellany. Also included are images of dip pen nibs from an old catalog and a decorative border set. To access the pen points, use the shift key and type any numeral key.

Quidic is an unusual display typeface. The upper-case letters are strongly vertical, condensed, and bold. Used by themselves, they make headlines and titles that stand out. The lower case letters do not have serifs similar to those on the upper-case letters, but rather have the serif shapes one expects from an italic style. The lower-case is also quite short compared to the upper-case letters. The italic styles of the family are unusual because the lower-case letters keep their shapes and the upper-case letters and numbers change. The family has three styles that differ more by width rather than by weight. Although some Bauhaus fonts have several letter shapes that are similar, there is no other typeface quite like Quidic. The family can be used for many things, but not for text. For a "normalized" version of this typeface, see Qwatick.

Birds is a beautiful picture font which features hand-drawn illustrations of birds & feathers. Many distinct bird species are represented. Each bird illustration also appears in a silhouette version.

Capstone is a display typeface influenced by the bold angular features of stone architecture, especially that of cathedrals and archways. It works well for short bold titles or brands.

Jacob, you love him or you hate him... either way, his handwriting rocks! LD Jacob is great for journaling, adorning scrapbook pages, or adding that final touch to your project.

Simultaneously futuristic and retro, Retron is perfectly named. Retron is a partially connected script - or is it a connected sans? Either way, it's a strange, unique combination that works surprisingly well.

Ranch Land JNL is based on a classic French Clarendon wood type, many of which were popular in the 1800s and are now associated with either Western motifs or circus events.

While I was developing this font, my mother kept feeding me something she calls "Dream Cake". This indescribably delicious confection fueled my inspiration (there's nothing like a constant sugar-high to keep you going!) and the result is this cute little font. Dream Cake is casual in nature and as with all of my fonts, you'll find some quirky little twists to make your type projects interesting.

Dogfight is a hand-crafted brush font which created from scratch by using a brush pen on a paper. It is not too sharp with sharp edges, but rather with a softer rounded shape. It is suitable as a display font for printed or digital products. Mainly as an advertisement or video production. For a pulp magazine called Spicy Western Stories, it was unusual that the January 01, 1939 issue had its cover title hand lettered in an extra bold Art Deco style rather than Western influenced lettering. This did not stop the lettering from being used as the design model for a digital type revival. Pulp Magazine JNL, is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Inspired by show card lettering and the more human side of art deco, I wanted this font to retain the casual unevenness of informal hand lettering. As decorative as the font looks, I do envision it being used for text more than display. Obviously not a workhorse, but rather a quirky niche font. I find it makes dense philosophic texts more friendly to read.

The model for this monocase typeface was issued in the early 1900s by Barnhart Brothers & Spindler with the rather prosaic name of Steelplate. A hundred years later, it still retains its currency (ouch!), which is how it got its name. Complete Adobe character set except for superior numbers. The Opentype version of this font supports Unicode 1250 (Central European) languages, as well as Unicode 1252 (Latin) languages.

This display font has an oriental character reminiscent of brush stroke calligraphy and all things Japanese. My original working title for this font was ‘Spanner’, because the lower case ‘c’, with which the design began, looked rather like the head of a spanner. I originally had in mind something more mechanical, but as it evolved and developed the font itself obviously had other ideas!

Eurostile Display Caps The Eurostile font family was designed (by Novarese and Butti in 1952) to complement the titling font, Microgramma, by offering a lowercase alphabet. Issued by the Nebiolo foundry, the rather square sans serif Eurostile became popular for display and advertising use. The linear nature of Eurostile suggests modern architecture, and its attraction is technical and functional. Eurostile is commonly misspelled Eurostyle.

There is not much I can tell about Isolde. It is a plain typeface, rather wide and with dominant serifs. Its italics are more slanted than usual. In fact only Caslon's italic can compete about that. Its width makes it more suitable for decorations than for larger amounts of text. The name comes from the medieval tale about Tristan and Isolde. Isolde was released in 1993.

It seeks a stable balance through the pairing of plain contrasts and ink trap interfaces. The ordinary yet sophisticated ink trap digging is designed to minimize the discomfort caused by the change in weight. This stability is consistent no matter what weight or style you choose. So it has a wide coverage area ranging from logo design, editorial design, web UI, and app design.

Slabton is a font family in the slab serif style. There are six defined weights, from thin to black, and six italic weights as well as a variable font. All latin small caps are integrated and the font contains a lot of useful open type features and options. Also, there is an additional shaded decor style for decorative matters and elements like headlines and initials.

It is necessary to keep the memories of our ancestors alive. Although the languages and cultures of the past societies were different, in my eyes the ancestor of our humanity is. Having to experience everything in that world, no matter where in the world it is. This font is a Runic member. It is a kind of variety that belongs to different geographical regions.

ITC Veljovic was designed by Jovica Veljovic and displays an obvious calligraphic heritage. The designer was strongly influenced by German designer Hermann Zapf and Israeli designer Henri Friedlander. ITC Veljovic exhibits a crisp precision, as if the letters were cut in stone rather than drawn with pen and ink. In 2014 Veljovic revised this family and ITC New Veljovic was released with many more weights and styles

Beckinslade is a lovely elaborate blackletter face, released just in time for Christmas, but useable at any time of the year. It is in the best traditions of Victorian Gothic revival, drawing inspiration from a range of sources and marrying them into one homogenous whole. The emphasis is on aesthetics rather than historical accuracy. Great fun though for anywhere ‘ye olde’ look is desired.

Shortly after the preparation of the original Century, the two Bentons (father Linn Boyd and son Morris Fuller) prepared a wider version for De Vinne’s press and called it Century Broadface. In 1900 ATF released the design for general use as Century Expanded, one of the most popular and effective of typefaces, to this day the text face of the New York Daily News.
