Erghon is a handwritten font with quick dry strokes and a signature style. It's perfect for branding projects, homeware designs, product packaging or simply as a stylish text overlay to any background image or posters. Erghon has an entire alternate glyph set. This is accessible simply by their own separate font file - just install this as normal and select 'Erghon Swash' , ‘Erghon' or ‘Erghon’ in your text-tool. Erghon includes 2 Font files: 1. I named this font after one of my favorite songs by Soundgarden: "Rusty Cage". The font is a mishmash of letters, which were hand-drawn and given a photoshop overhaul to make them look grungy and grotesque. I mixed upper and lower case letters, added a whole bunch of alternate letters, spooned in some Salt and Calt and added a pinch of Liga as well. The result is a weird concoction, which looks good on posters, in ads and possibly even tattoos. I dare you!

The motivation for Jackipur was: to achieve more openness and thus more clarity. That's why I created more clarity in the structure of the letters in order to avoid formal ambiguities that arise especially with small degrees. I found it important to open up the round letters so that they are straight and horizontal along the center and baselines so that the eye can connect the letters directly and quickly. A simple font, but neither plain nor without elegance.
