It has a wide array of stylistic alternates for all of the capitals and some lowercase glyphs too.

Tacit is the first typeface to be the creative outcome of a PhD thesis in graphic design. The work's main study had the aim of documenting design processes in an effort to externalise the tacit (experiential) knowledge of graphic designers. Cicero was the first typeface designed by Thierry Puyfoulhoux in 94. It is what could be called a semi-serif. The remaining serifs still stabilize the baseline, although less effectively than a "full-serif" typeface.
