Keetoowah evolved from a just a few letters in a sketch for a sorority t-shirt design. They loved it and kept asking for more of the same. The only solution was to make a font. These characters were made to be broken up, two toned, rotated, merged and jammed together. But, Keetoowah has a serious side. Limoen means 'lemon' in Dutch. Why did I call this font Limoen? Well, I guess I ran out of meaningful names, so I had to work with whatever popped in my head - which happened to be Limoen. Don't ask… Limoen is a very cute, very threedee-ish typeface. It works great in poster ads and as a display font. It comes with upper and lower case letters and a whole bunch of diacritics. Enjoy!

Front Row JNL is an all-caps reinterpretation of Morris Fuller Benton's 1937 type design "Empire", and is available in both regular and oblique versions. As is often the case when a digital type font is based on a few letter examples found on a printed sample [in this case, the sheet music of the 1946 Guy Lombardo hit "What More Can I Ask For"], the missing characters were drawn from scratch.

The designer's father, Philip Grecian drew a logo for his business, Grecian Creative Services and asked Alex Grecian to expand on the logo. Alex extrapolated from the existing letters, creating a font to compliment his father's logo. Naming it was the easy part. Grecian Empire has since become one of the most popular fonts offered by Elemeno. When Patricia Lillie was growing up, she thought the coolest thing in the world would be finding her own name listed in a library catalog. The fantasy came true in 1986 when her first children's book was published. Five more followed. My first typeface designs were based on lettering I'd done while working for a library, doing graphics work for the children's section," she explains. "I currently do a lot of web design, but type is my favorite thing." The Tickles (ITC Tickle and ITC Tickle Too) are Lillie's first ITC typeface releases. "I was playing around with a Sharpie marker one day and liked the way the letters looked," she recalls. "I started redoing the letters from scratch in Fontographer to see what developed, and liked those letters too." Abrikos is apricot in danish. A lovely and sweet fruit, often underestimated and not very well known - but if you ask me, it is delicious! The letters were drawn using a small brush, and as you can see, I almost ran out of ink - leaving the letters somewhat rough. I made 4 different versions of each lowercase letter, and these cycle automatically as you type in order to make some randomness. I threw in an extensive set of international characters as well! Two Cents Plain JNL is a simple sans design for titling, sign work, display ads and so forth. The name is derived from the way folks in the Northeast used to ask for a glass of seltzer water at restaurants and soda fountains decades ago: "Give me a two cents plain." It was always cheaper to order plain seltzer than to have flavored syrup added, and this was especially true in the years during the Great Depression when every penny made a difference.

The initial idea for this font came when a friend of mine asked me to create a logo for a sports team that he was forming. Since it was a martial arts competitive sport, bold and striking lettering was needed to reflect that. When the logo was finished, I was really pleased whith the letters so I decided to create the entire font. Taurunum is made with intention to be used for display design (logos, posters, etc.), and combining the weights should give best results.
