Monterey Pop oozes 1960s freedom and optimism, and is based on Tom Wilkes’s poster lettering for the Monterey International Pop Festival in June 1967, the event which heralded the legendary Summer of Love. Telephone Extended is a geometric semi-slab family with block serifs positioned to assist wordflow.
