Inspired by various shapes such as leaves, flowers, hearts etc., Apresia Script is harmonically crafted. My first intention is only for standard design, but, later added simpler characters for normal(standard) typings. Apresia Script is rich with capital letter variants and ornaments. There are also lowercase variants in lesser numbers. I assume that many or perhaps most people want to have their name or the other of their important designs to be written with some letters that are in various shapes harmoniously. Apresia Script with more then 4000 glyphs support this aim, also support many latin based languages. However, because of many variations, except the standard characters, the full marked capitals are only set in two variants; in ss01 and ss02, which is also some marked lowercases included here. Swash variants (swsh) consist only one variant of every uppercase and lowercase characters, but no marked characters. All the others capital and lowercase variants are put in stlystic alternatives (salt). There are tens of unmarked caps and fewer for unmarked lowercase in salt (see Apresia Script opentype features(1) poster for some). The ornaments can be accessed via opentype ornaments(ornm), using less() characters for easier access. There are also beginning small letter(lowercase) ornaments, end word(lowercase) ornaments and insertion ornaments to make your typing/design more flourish, using ornm via “[“ (bracketleft), “]” (bracketright) and “\” (backslash), respectively. For marks; marks via combining marks and mkmk was set for many characters variants, however, it seem most applications not yet support this features. Alternatively, you can add non standard unicode combining marks via ornaments for the language supported: asterisk “*” list for uppercase marks above letters; ASCIIcircum “^” list for lowercase marks above letters; underscore “_” for uppercase and lowercase marks below the letters; numbersign “#” for slashing characters, horn, caron alternate and reversed comma for g, (see Apresia Script opentype features(2) poster and save it if you download the font). Thus, it is recommended to have the application which are support these opentype features such as: Adobe in Design, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW or others for easier accessing the glyphs. Still, for non supported applications, you can insert these glyphs via Character maps, insert symbols or other similar tools. Apresia Script will go for most typing/design such as invitation, wedding card, greeting card, banners, logos and many others. Use it for whatever you intended to, Apresia script will give an amazing end design, though you are not a designer. As intended to be able to be used by many, this font is set in an affordable price. Sedona is a quirky, all capitals, display font that evokes the American West, Native Americana, vacations, travel, campgrounds, rustic lodges, needle point, Christmas, holidays, Arts and Crafts movement, quilts, tiles, and alpine resorts. It is based on an isometric grid and individual shapes that conform to the grid's structure. Each letter or glyph is made up of numerous triangular shapes. The letters have gaps of space that create a dynamic texture. Our mind connects the triangles to complete the letter and recognize the familiar letterform. Sedona will create a unique identity for book cover titles, editorial headings, packaging, logotypes and signs. Create multicolored letters by selecting individual shapes within each letter and apply various colors. Simply convert type in Adobe Illustrator or InDesign with these two steps: 1. Zamenhof is a family of five fonts that can be used singly or in combination to create a variety of bold, yet elegant, display styles. Inspired by Russian hand-lettering that appears to have been based on Jakob Erbar’s Phosphor, Zamenhof is essentially a Latin interpretation (with Cyrillic and Greek) of a Cyrillic interpretation of a Latin type design, with many changes along the way. (For example, all the Latin-only letters are quite different between the two designs: D, F, G, J, K, N, Q, R, S, U, V, W, Y, Z.) The Inline and Inverse styles of Zamenhof are the basic fonts and can be used effectively on their own. The Plain and Outline fonts — which I recommend using only in combination with the main designs — were created specifically to be combined with Inline and Inverse, as underlay and overlay layers, respectively. (You will need an application that supports layers, such as Adobe InDesign or Photoshop.) Zamenhof supports most European languages as well as modern Greek, and of course, Russian and other languages that use the Cyrillic alphabet. Needless to say, as Zamenhof is named after the father of Esperanto, it also supports Esperanto (as do all fonts from CastleType).

Neuarc Font Family This is the 20th font family of CozyFonts Foundry, established 10 years ago in 2012 with the release of Aladdin Bold. Neuarc is based loosely on arcs and curves, hence it’s naming. As shown in one of the font posters that serves to showcase this font, a collage of rough sketches is displayed as the poster’s background. About 7 years ago, I released a beautiful (imho) Art Deco inspired font called Weltschmerz. Weltschmerz was an all-caps font and I always wanted to do a lower case version as well. But as things so often go in life, I never found the time and forgot about it. Some time ago, I ‘rediscovered’ my good old Weltschmerz font and remembered that I wanted to create a lower case version. Without further ado: here is Neuer Weltschmerz (‘New Weltschmerz’). I redid the whole font, better kerning, better spacing, better looks… and with a proper lower case! I did keep the original handwritten look intact - because, well, it IS hand made!

One of my dreams as a type-designer was making a good looking chancery cursive. Full of life, like some of the best calligraphers around the world do on their artworks. With Julian Waters, John Stevens and Denis Brown (just to name a few of them) (1) chancery, or italic script, was transformed into a new, exciting and very fresh style of calligraphy mainly at the end of 20th Century. Dream Script may be that dream named above made true. I have been practicing chancery in the way I learnt from those calligraphers for many years now. Making a font out of my ink-sketches was a tough work, since they were closer of -being art- than of -being type-. However, this font rescues many aspects of handmade calligraphy: You have to look at it really close to notice it is actually a font, and that was one of my goals. The secret of a good looking chancery is on its subtle details: pen angle is constantly changing, even on the strokes which seem straight. Capitals and swashes have to be done a little faster than lowercase letters. The rhythm has to be even, in spite of its playful look. The fact that makes Dream look alive is that it has many alternates per glyph. This makes each word look unique like it happens in calligraphy: you will find alternates for the beginning/ending of a word/phrase, some for the middle of it, some interchangeable. Also, to accompany the script, you will find Dream Caps, which was inspired in the eternally beautiful trajan capitals. Place them like I did on the posters and you will have great results for sure. The font works great in small, middle and big sizes and can be a great selection for magazines, wedding invitations, perfumes, and posters. Close your eyes, and Dream with me... TECHNICAL Dream Script Pro is the most complete style, it contains all the alternates and ligatures (OT programmed, better if you use Adobe applications) If you plan to use the font for text, be sure to activate the less decorative capitals, which are placed in the “salt” group of alternates. Dream Script Standard has less glyphs than the Pro one, it contains just some ligatures for a better legibility.
