Berryfield started as an experiment: making a font entirely out of geometric shapes. It started with a couple of circles and a couple of rectangles, and was constructed entirely from those parts, and parts made from those parts! For the uppercase, I took style inspiration from the heavy serif classics. But when it came time to create the lowercase set, I took a sharp turn and looked to fun unicase fonts, creating uppercase-height lowercase letters, in addition to uppercase alternates. When I finished Berryfield Regular, I liked it so much I made a lighter version (almost like a typewriter font), and a heavier version, to give you even more variety! Each font in the family contains over 520 characters, including over 300 extended Latin characters for language support. There are also a number of alternate letters to choose from, as well as superscript ordinals (ST, ND, RD, and TH), all of which are PUA-encoded for easy access no matter what design program you're using. Triumphant, vigorous and strong. These were the keywords for the design of Girga, named after an Egyptian city in the Sohag Governorate. The power and strength of the Egyptian letterforms were balance with a few sans serif forms so the darkness of the text and the fatness of the overall glyphs could be kept. The talented Ronna Penner has created many beautiful script fonts, and Black Jack’s quality was very good so only a few spacing issues had to be addressed. I've added some kerning pairs, and then added all the glyphs needed for the CheapProFonts language coverage. This font was an absolute joy to rework, and with its extended character set I hope it now finds many more users! This cool techno font is easily recognizable with its quite unique stroke endings. I have increased the ascenders and descenders slightly (so they would work better with the new diacritic letters) and introduced a few alternate letterforms in addition to generally expanding the character set. A totally enjoyable reworking of an original design. Now also with a Bold and a brand new Light variant! Please note that these variants are made by adding/removing from the regular shape, so the letters no longer sits on the baseline. Stickley Optical Family is an expansion of P22 Stickley Text, a humanist, Oldstyle-rooted design with a contemporary execution and full OpenType abilities. The font contains ten distinct cuts across four optical masters—in addition to Text for page content, the optical family includes Display for titling; Headline for emphasis; and Caption for footnotes and small sizes. Typefaces were originally designed for the physical size at which they were to be printed, with subtle variations in proportion, detail, contrast, and visual weight to ensure they were as clear at 6 pt. as they were elegant at 68 pt. This created a unified design as the various sizes were set together on a page.

Text is the foundation of this typeface family and is built for use in extended reading. Its proportions are carefully balanced for visual clarity while retaining its character; designed for use at 9 to 13 pt.
