Melcheburn is a classic late-medieval gothic font based on original lettering by Samuel Welo. It has strong, formal lower case letters and extremely ornate and decorative capitals.

Matura font was designed by the Hungarian wood engraver and type designer Imre Reiner in 1938 and released by the Monotype Corporation. Matura font is a bold upright script that looks as if it were written with a broad-edged pen. A set of vibrant near-flourished capitals, called scriptorial capitals, broadens the usual range of script faces. Matura's distinctive lines make it appropriate for advertising uses as well as text headings, and for informal work like cards, invitations, and announcements.

A simple rough font. Kraft is a rough techno-style sans serif meant for setting text in all capitals. Instead of lowercase letters there are capitals of smaller height but with the same stroke width. They make tighter type. Characters are pressed really close together which creates the visual rhythm of very narrow and very wide openings. The wide strokes allow free use of graphics. This font is designed for putting on coarse surfaces, for breaking, crumbing, scratching, or making stencils on concrete.

Sombrieul is Greater Albion’s greatest and grandest Edwardian display typeface yet. Just the thing for any project with a late 19th/early 20th century inspiration. Sombrieul has a LOT of opentype features:- stylistic alternates, ligatures, discretionary ligatures, small capitals, title forms, swash capitals, old-style and lining numerals, numeral title forms. Of course, these features don’t allow for infinite variability in appearance, there must be some limits after all! They do allow for a lot of variety, however! There are over 1,000 glyphs...

Gloversville is a casual marker handwritten style font. Originating from some turn of the century letters to a defunct blinds and shutters company in Gloversville, NY, what began as a limited reference of Capitals, lowercase, numbers and punctuation was expanded to a full typeface with an expanded language glyph set. It contains a unique mixing of capitals and lowercase in the lowercase glyph slots to create a unique typesetting feel. Perfect for a range of designs that require a heavy handed personal touch.

Shervington is a geometric, All capitals and Small capitals typeface with a range of opentype features ideal for banners, headlines, logo design and good clear signage. The letterforms are all geometrically inspired, and are just unusual enough to stand out without obviously striving to do so. It’s a design of bold horizontal and vertical strokes complimented with ‘tiny’ serifs and owes a certain amount of inspiration to traditional sign writing techniques. The family consists of three typefaces; Regular, Shadow and Weathered.

ITC Clover is the work of California designer Jill Bell. ITC Clover's design is even, rounded, and friendly. It has the look of the loopy cursive writing taught in grade school, although its shapes are much more controlled. Capitals are decorated with generous loops and curlicues, which combine with a lowercase alphabet that is only reserved in relation to the capitals. The letters almost dance across the page even when they are static, and they bring their own dynamism to any animation.

French type designer Albert Boton created this serif FontFont in 2003. The family has 7 weights, ranging from Light to Bold (including italics) and is ideally suited for book text, film and tv, editorial and publishing as well as small text. FF Tibere provides advanced typographical support with features such as swashes, ligatures, small capitals, petite capitals, alternate characters, and case-sensitive forms. It comes with a complete range of figure set options – oldstyle and lining figures, each in tabular and proportional widths.

Based on drawings of Medieval versals (capitals used at beginning of verses in manuscripts) by Frederic W. Goudy. Works beautifully as initials with Goudy Text Oldstyle. Uppercase only, no numerals or punctuation; several letters have alternates. Framed, inversed caps are also included. This version of Lombardy Capitals is purposely less regular and clean-cut than some available to maintain a more hand-drawn look similar to the irregularities that would be found in a Medieval manuscript. The alternates help contribute to that look.

I'm happy to present you my new Romanesque font from the Codex Gigas. The manuscript was created in the early 13th century in the Benedictine monastery of Podlažice in Bohemia. The codex was written in a handwriting atypical for the 13th century, which is actually a late version of the Carolingian minuscule. Texts about repentance and exorcism were written in large Majuscule (Square Capitals (Imperial Roman capitals written with a brush)). Majuscules first incised in stone more than two millennia ago, married to minuscule letterforms that evolved from manuscript hands of the eighth and ninth centuries. Majuscule font is the name given to a type of decorative upper-case letters used in inscriptions and, typically, at the start of a section of text in medieval manuscripts. They are characterized by their straight forms unlike rounded in Lombardic capitals with thick, curved stems. Majuscule capitals were also used to write words or entire phrases. The text is divided into words, punctuation marks are used consistently – periods indicate the end of a sentence and the middle of a phrase. Cal Roman Black is one more font from the PKG “Cal” (Calligraphic) group. This time for calligraphic sketches we used a wide brush instead of the iron pen. Instead of minuscule letters, there are Small Caps (which are almost the same weight as capitals). There was an intention to keep the spacing as small as possible, because of that, there is no obvious difference in the stroke thickness of the capitals and the lowercase capital letters. The difference in height is only one-third of the brush-width. Cal Roman Black font is rhythmic, informal, dark and hefty... romantic and strong at the same time (just like Ferdinand). As such, this font is widely used in the typographic creation of shorter and closely packed text forms such as magazine headlines, brochures and book covers, t-shirt designs, logos, posters, movie spots, banners...

Bertoni is a high contrast Didone family of twenty faces, which combines extreme legibility with distinctive character. It is able to hold its own in modern usage while having features rooted in a deep period charm. The family includes two widths as well as two weights. Bertoni regular, bold and wide are small capitals faces ideal for posters, book covers, packaging and signage. The text faces are body faces which form the ideal accompaniment. For more distinctive features, the Title, Capitals (all capitals, but in two forms) and Flamboyant faces are ideal. Bertoni offers a blend of the modern with classical revivalist charm which makes it up to the minute and never out of place. The family is extensive enough to form the foundation of a commercial house style, but can also lend an element of character in single usage.

ITC Rastko began as a series of initial letters for a book of poetry. Serbian designer Olivera Stojadinovic had been working with a small publishing house creating a special series of books under the Masterpieces" brand. Her goal was to draw a new set of initial letters for each book. ITC Rastko, named after the Serbian poet Rastko Petrovic, was a project that required initial letters for the entire alphabet. Once Stojadinovic had drawn the majority of the capital letters, she realized that a companion lowercase would make a distinctive script typeface. Sketches of the letters were drawn quickly with a pointed pen. Stojadinovic then refined these, keeping the spontaneous, hand-drawn quality. Capitals are wide and flourished, while the lowercase letters are more condensed and subdued. It's no surprise that the capitals also make great initial letters."

Inspired by an old matchbook which read: "Chop Suey: Finest Chinese and American Cooking". Chop Chop recreates that matchbook printed feel with soft rounded edges on what one would normally expect to be a sharp and pointy typeface. The typeface has two versions of each capital form, one in the capitals and one in the lowercase positions.
