Our Pardner font finds its inspiration from the title screens of the 1965 film “West and Soda”, an animated Italian film that was a parody on American Westerns. The inspiration source for Almond Monogram is a highly unusual warped letterset from a vintage embroidery publication combining to create an almond form monogram. Originally intended to adorn handkerchiefs, it has many other possibilities. Numbers and letters can be combined to create one side of the monogram, while the other side is completed by ornament glyphs under the comma, period, braceleft, braceright, bracketleft and bracketright characters. This extremely heavy informal script was created in the early 1920s by Lucian Bernhard. Like so many of his designs, this typeface has its roots in his earlier poster work. Bernhard Brushscript invokes a rather warm, pleasant feeling despite a number of quirky characters. Originally created for the Bauer Foundry of Frankfurt, Germany, the face looks as though it’s been drawn with a brush and contains looping ascenders and descenders. So, without further ado, let me introduce the straight man to Revla Sans's buffoon - Revla Sans Text. It represents a complete overhaul of Revla Sans. The bounciness has been removed and details reined in, all for the purpose of optimizing the fonts for use in longer runs of text. 'Text' is perhaps a strong word here; you're not going to be setting novels in this typeface. It still retains the charm of the original, and could well be used in display settings. AccruedInterest is an all caps font with hollow letters, the outlines of which were roughly drawn with a calligraphic pen. The serifs are large and round. In a revision in 2019, the insides of the letters were separated out to allow easy bi-colored lettering when using layers. Phoenica Std Mono expands the already large family of my very successful Phoenica. The motivation to develop a new mono-Phoenica family was that I was not satisfied with monospaced fonts in programming code, or simply in e-mail correspondence. The Mono Phoenica solves the problem of a typical monospaced font, a rigid, fixed width. The design gradations from Condensed monospaced to monospaced from 390em to 600em-square incurred a total of 21 fonts. Packages contain the fonts in CFF-OpenType and TrueType format, so you can use these beautiful fonts on all operating systems.

Big, expansive and flat on top; that’s a land formation called a mesa. “Mesa” was the first name for Strata Bold Rounded Serif, but it turns out it’s someone else’s registered trademark; in any case, if you need a bold, extended mono-height font that’s great for logotype, you could, as we used to say in the Mid-West, do a whole lot worse. SBRS is the final generation of an evolution that started with Mesa begating Mesa Bold which begat Mesa Bold Rounded which culminated in this evolutionary superior product. Use it!

This variation in the Tangential series (see also the Standard & Rounded families) continues with the angles that give the typeface its name, however a semi-serif is applied wherever appropriate to create a more open, softer variant. The Tangential style I envisaged for the family is complemented by the prominent use of negative space throughout, most apparent on the drop shaped ‘o’ which is a key feature of the typeface and a letterform I'm particularly pleased with. Available in 2 weights, Regular & Bold, in both OpenType OTF & TrueType TTF formats.

A set of self-adhesive poster board letters once made by the E-Z Letter Stencil Company and sold under the name "Quik Stik" was the model for School Project JNL. Ironically, the line was discontinued because they did not stick very well - the weight of the cardboard caused the letters (which used a rubber cement type of glue) to pull away from the surface they were mounted to. Unlike vinyl self-adhesive letters (which were formulated for indoor or outdoor use) these cardboard sets were relegated to indoors only; further restricting their usability.

Molde is a super sans serif font family, belonging to the neo-grotesque style. Formally, Molde was inspired by the extreme sobriety of famous post-Bauhaus Swiss Movement of the mid-twentieth Century. The masters of this style are famous for eliminating all the ornaments, as a brilliant mind said “Ornament und Verbrechen”(Ornament and Crime) as a creation law: ending up with only the essential. Thanks to the purity of its shapes, Molde spreads the message as clear as possible and this quality makes it much more versatile than any other typography. Molde can be therefore used in all types of designs, If we consider its personality and its amount of weights and widths. Molde is composed of 6 widths ranging from the tablet to the expanded and in the set of characters includes a Unicase version and a small caps version. The family is composed of 3 parts: the regular version, the italic version and the reverse version. Each one of them has 9 weights. Each weight has 649 characters and it has been thought for 219 latin languages.

Zierde is a take on early advertising, small-copy grotesks of the late 19th/early 20th century, and is largely inspired by Miller & Richard’s own range of Grotesques. More importantly, Zierde is accompanied by a large set of ornaments (+200) which hark back to the look-and-feel of the early-modernist arts and crafts movement. The ornaments in, and presentation of, Zierde owe much credit to J.G Schelter & Giesecke’s 1913 type specimen book ‘Die Zierde’. The strong functional uppercase sans-serifs alongside luscious, beautiful patterns in ‘Die Zierde’ make for beautiful combinations. This early-modernist use of grotesk alongside ornament looks bizarre in the eyes of us used to seeing sans-serifs in more formal, sterile settings. The face itself retains some historical flourishes such as the eccentric leaning angle of the italics, the long cross-bar on the ‘G’, the gammy-leg of the ‘R’, a strange ampersand and some irregular terminals across the weights. Zierde is display face meant for headlines, titles, short-copy, labels and logos. It comes in caps and small caps, Latin and Cyrillic.

Fantini is the revival and elaborate update of a typeface called Fantan, made in-house and released in 1970 by a minor Chicago film type supplier called Custom Headings International. In the most excellent tradition of seriously-planned American film faces back then, CHI released a full complement of swashes and alternates to the curly art nouveau letters. Fantan didn't fare much among the type scene's big players back then, but it did spread like electricity among the smaller ones, the mom-and-pop type shops. But by the late 1980s, when film type was giving up the ghost, most smaller players in the industry were gone, in some cases along with little original libraries that existed nowhere else and became instant rarities on their way to be forgotten and almost impossible to resurrect for future technologies. Fantini is the fun and curly art nouveau font bridging the softness and psychedelia of the 1960s with the flirtatious flare of the 1970s like no other face does. Elements of psychedelia and funk flare out and intermix crazily to create cool, swirly letters packed with a lot of joy and energy. This is the kind of American art nouveau font that made its comeback in the late 20th century and is now a standard visual in the branding drive of almost every consumer product, from coffee labels to book and music covers to your favorite sugar or thirst-crunching fix. Alongside Fantini's enormous main font come small caps and three extra fonts loaded with swashy alternates and variations on plenty of letters. All available in all popular font formats. Located in the Valencian Community, Spain, Manises is very famous for its pottery. In the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, Manises was the most important production center for Spanish-Moresca ceramics, which was exported throughout Europe. At the beginning of the 16th century, Manises tiles were very commercially successful, especially of the heraldic type. Much appreciated by the Aragonese crown, Manises ceramics was also exported to France, Italy, and especially to Naples. As a big fan of Paterna and Manises ceramics, Naples influenced other Italian courts. Calixto III and Alejandro VI continuously commissioned Valencian pieces and tiles for the halls of the Vatican. The export also extended to Sicily, Venice, Turkey, Cyprus and even Flanders and the Baltic countries. The palaces of all the courts of Europe were enriched with this art. Many painters reproduced it in his paintings. It can be seen in the work of Hubert and Jan Van Eyck, and in the central panel of a triptych by Hugo Van der Goes (Uffizi Gallery, Florence). In this city there are also some frescoes by Domenico Ghirlandaio in which the Arabic-Valencian earthenware appears. Manises font is inspired by a text written on a 16th century tile, but adapting it to our times and giving it a very modern air. It is characterised by being able to combine uppercase and lowercase letters in a conventional manner, or use only capitals, or only lowercase letters, or, a random combination of both. It comes with an extra of many ligatures, stylistic alternates, and a set of very useful catchwords, to give more modernity to your text. This OpenType features may only be accessible via OpenType-aware applications, or the Character Map to view and copy any of the extra characters to paste into your favourite text editor/app. Manises looks lovely on wedding invitations, greeting cards, logos, posters, labels, t-shirt design, logos, children's material, in ink or water-colour based designs, fashion, magazines, food packaging and menus, book covers and whatever your imagination holds!
