I have no particular affection for ducks, nor do I keep them, but I thought it was about time someone named a font after them! Sitting Duck is a jolly comic/kids font. This family of faces is based on the series Riverside Drive, designed by Peter Max for Photo-Lettering Inc. in the early 1970s. However, several letters have been altered to maintain design consistency and to improve legibility. Both versions of this font support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

The logotype lettering of a 1927 issue of Motion Picture magazine provided the inspiration for this playful romp through the alphabet. Named after an expression of the same time whose origin and meaning are shrouded in mystery. Another one of those faces that caught my eye in one of my art deco type books, and I wanted it. After I finished the face, I noticed that there is a more clean-cut version of this face in digital format, but my version retains more of the funkiness of the original drawings.

Here is another attempt to create a font for invitation work unlike any already out in the world. In casting about for a name, I decided to call it Valerie after Valerie Hope, a mindreader of days long gone, who played California theatres in the 1930s and 1940s. Bellino is a well-crafted script typeface. Drawn by Måns Grebäck during 2018, this high-quality font has beautiful letter shapes and swashy capitals. Use one or more underscores after any word to underline. Example: Bellino___ The font contains stylistic, initial and final alternates, as well as ligatures. It also has extensive language support.

I watched the movie Red Dragon a while ago and it inspired me to make this rather spooky font. I was going to call it Dolarhyde (after the antagonist), but settled on the more unsettling Fearsome. Fearsome is a handmade script font with a ‘psychopath’ feel to it. Comes with a gruesome amount of diacritics.

Overton JNL is based on some of the preliminary letter designs by Rudolf Wolf which evolved into his 1929 type design Memphis and is available in both regular and oblique versions. Memphis was the design model for the later typeface family Stymie and Overton JNL was named after Overton Park; located in Memphis, Tennessee.

Jeff Levine took Crown Heights JNL [named after his childhood neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY] and gave it a make-over; transforming it into a Western-style all-caps display face called Homesteader JNL. The point of interest being the rounded characters: C, G, O and Q - usually not as geometric in Old West typography.

Slab Happy is a layered typographic system that adds a unique twist to neutral slab serifs. By pasting layers on top of one another and altering fonts and colors, you can create infinite combinations of slabby brilliance. Slab Happy looks best when set in display sizes, but functions just as well at smaller point sizes.

A gothic blackletter font named after the Parler master builder family which built the Schwaebisch Gmuend cathedral. I realized I didn't have that many serif fonts, so I started sketching and came up with John Brown. John Brown is named after the sheriff in the Bob Marley song 'I Shot The Sheriff'. It is an all caps font, but upper and lower case can be freely interchanged for that great 'natural' look.

Here’s a techno typeface with a difference. Its monoline stroke and sharp terminals are softened by rounded corners, and its perceptual monospaced widths have been subtly altered and strategically kerned to improve the visual flow. Manito was designed by Garrett Boge in 1989. He employed a wide pen and angular, sturdy forms to simulate rough-hewn woodcut letters. It is named after a native American word for 'Great Spirit'.

Another in the Whiz-Bang Woodtype series, based on authentic xylographic designs from the late nineteenth century. Named after (surprise!) a small town in Texas. I happened to come across a facsimile of a sample of text with typeface made by Sweynheim & Pannartz in 1476. I scanned the sample, and redraw all the available glyphs from the sample in RobFog. After that I added the missing characters by copying and pasting the forms of the original characters, and filling in the missing parts.

Kaftice is a casual handwritten font created based on unique brush strokes. To add a personal touch, you can put a swash at the beginning and end of a word by activating the swash feature or by simply putting two underscores before / after a letter. In addition, Kaftice also includes standard ligatures to make your typography more interesting.

Presenting a condensed Art Deco sans serif font with rounded corners and squared inner lines, based on the hand lettered title on the cover of the sheet music for 1944’s “Just A Little Fond Affection”. Allerton JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions, and was named after a neighborhood in the Bronx, New York.

A friend bought me a Chinese calligraphic brush set in a beautifully decorated box. I started to letter the alphabet on parchment, in my own hand, using quick strokes and found the resulting script had an interesting energy to it. After further refinement in my font application software 'Swordtail' was born. A great free-hand script.

One of Jeff Levine's friends kept requesting that he name a font after her, and he finally obliged with Rachelle JNL. The font gets its inspiration from the antique wood type version of the popular font most often known as a Latin typeface - complete with spur serifs and all of the usual quirks of wooden type.

Tudeprins is not a really positive word - the font probably did deserve another name, but I was inspired after reading a children's novel, starring a "Tudeprins" The font is dedicated to children's books, adventures, comics or something related to that - but feel free to use "Tudeprins" for anything you like! The City Burn, formerly called "The city burn night after night and we spray-paint the walls", was especially designed for Mad Skills Mag issue#3 Urban Flavour. It needed to be street, and urban, so I made a stencil font. It’s used by Fox5 tv for the rant TV show, the website infected.com, Fried chillies TV, and others!

Hofstad is a font which was modeled on a poster designed by Dutch graphic artist Jan Lavies (1902 - 2005). Lavies became famous for the posters he designed for the Holland America Line of cruise ships. Hofstad font was named after the theatre group "Vereenigd Rotterdamsch - Hofstad Tooneel" for which Jan Lavies designed a poster. Hofstad comes with all diacritics.

Fire the retro rockets! Here's a decidedly different take on techno type, patterned after Robert Williamson's Program 32 from the 1970s. Despite its machine-readable pretensions, it renders remarkably warm headlines. This font contains every variant found in the Hebrew Bible such as the “mutilated” Waw in Numbers 25: verse 12, the small Heh in Genesis 2: verse 4 and the Nun Inversum before Numbers 10: verse 35 and after verse 36 and elsewhere as well as oversized consonants and various double-wide consonants used in inscriptions.
