Kongress is a typeface that includes all that is needed for building a proper corporate identity. Modesto Initials had existed as a single font for several years. I recently added a fill font to put color in the Inlines. The Inline font still works by itself. The Fill font works alone too, as an ultra Modesto on steroids. They work best together. Modesto is a loose-knit family based on a signpainters lettering style popular in the late-19th and early-20th centuries. It evolved from the lettering I used for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Logo. The Modesto family was not planned. It just happened, a few fonts at a time over about fifteen years. In 2014 seven new Italic fonts and two Chromatic families were added. There is a downloadable MODESTO USER MANUAL PDF in the Gallery section for this family.

The Gabriela project is of great importance to us since it is the first font published by Latinotype México which is our brand-new sister foundry in Mexico. Eterea is a formal font inspired in the monumental inscriptions of classic Rome, but not strictly sticking to the ancient roman typographic characteristics. Loft is a typeface family of extremes: from the extra compressed Hairline to the extra wide Mammoth. Paris-based designer Julien Janiszewski’s aim was to create a type family based on a strict hierarchy — a suite that would provide graphic designers with a tool to create systematic solutions. Its design was inspired by 19th-century wood type as well as the sign saying “DÉFENSE D'AFFICHER” (Post No Bills) that is ubiquitous in France. Loft comes in seven weights with matching italics. The purpose of Brutman was to create a typeface that reimagined the incise style for the 21st century.
