Park Avenue Park Avenue was designed by R.E. Smith in 1933 for American Type Founders. Park Avenue is an elegant and light script with freely drawn capitals. Park Avenues pen-drawn quality is particularly evident in the lowercase. The ascenders and descenders of this script font are long; the ascenders are bent-over at the top. Park Avenue has a small 'x' height with tall ascenders, giving the face a refined, elegant appearance. The full elegance and lightness of Park Avenue are only apparent when combining upper and lowercase. I started designing Volupia in 2004 and the main goal was to create a very casual font with some characteristics than we can find in some old commercial advertisements. After designing the basic character set I decided to go OpenType because it would allow me to go deep into the script, correcting the balance of the spaces and the kerning, along with the possibility to create Ligatures and Swashes. The result is a typeface ideal for use in very big sizes. Volupia includes Small Caps, Ligatures, Fractions, CE Characters, Swashes and Alternates. The ligatures and the ending swashes allow the user to make the text more calligraphic and personal.

Altone was created in a pursue of regularity and conventional geometric sans serif typeface which tend to be easy to receive by it's reader, broad usage possibility, shown a simple, bold and strong personality. The letterforms are more likely associated with Grotesk rather than the original classical Bauhaus style, formed in moderate and proportional width, flat apex, closed aperture with straight cuts stroke ends. It’s spring and the Cherry Blossoms are in bloom… and so is the new typeface by Neil Summerour and Positype. Cherry Blossoms is the new relaxed script family in the same vein as Good Karma. Produced from hand and sumi brush of Neil Summerour, Cherry Blossoms is a natural brush textured font family. Cherry Blossoms is blooming with personality, reliable and genuine movements, and a wide range of letter options to befit any project needing an honest hand-lettered look. Each typeface comes with an expansive set of stylistic alternates (upper AND lowercase), that harmonize wonderfully when you have the Opentype Ligature feature active.
