Roves is a font family dedicated to exploration, adventure and the early merchants of history. The word rove means “a journey, especially one with no specific destination; an act of wandering”. the family consists of three Stencil versions each with a Regular and Bold weight as well as two Sans versions each also with a regular and bold weight, this is a total of 10 different options to work with. When combined these two fonts create great looking typography that compliment each other but each also strong enough to be used on their own. The Roves family is a display font with a great rust vintage feel to it which gives the user an authenticity when working with typographic projects. Roves has been created with the designer in mind, to create with and explore the different options with in the family.

Initially we wanted to create a font that would imitate an inscription made by a square tip marker which is usually used to write price tags at supermarkets, shops and cafes. During the working process we've decided to extend the conceptual boundaries of the Walls fontfamily and added 5 rough typefaces that imitate the style of ecologic chalk writing

Make it a balanced composition in a sans serif font and a brush pen in a script font to show the realistic elements of the font. This is a font that is suitable for you to use in all your creative needs. Such as branding, logos, posters, web design, music artwork, etc. Each font file includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers, punctuation, and multilingual support. Rough Motion Script also includes a set of 10 swashes, ideal for underlining individual words and adding that extra 'custom' style. You can access it in every alternative letter A-J. That's it!
