A happy, and delicate family, available in 5 weights. Being very legible in small sizes, it pays tribute to French designer Roger Excoffon, particularly to his Antique Olive type. Antique Olive combines two features which inspired the design of Quimera: a large x-height with open counters which ensures legibility at tiny body sizes; and letterforms with a horizontal stress which contradicts the logics of calligraphic tradition (thick verticals, thin horizontals). Quimera has a typical sanserif stroke modulation, but letters have a very thin, capricious serif, which helps to keep the texline's continuity. Hodgepodge is a confused mixture of letters that somehow work together. While I know this has been done before I create fonts that I need. And I occasionally have found a need for this. And it was not there, so now it is. There is a mixture of light and dark, bold and regular, caps and lower case but not where you would expect them to be. Since this is a headline font you can set the headline and then easily go back and change a letter here or there to get the best-looking combination. Hodgepodge was in the 2011 Typodarium Page-A-Day Calendar on 7-17-2011.

Clumsy is a two weight all caps handcrafted awkward font with alternates for all characters and digits. The font was inspired by a few lines of text from an old soviet book about vine. Clumsy is a good choice for small amounts of text. When Clumsy is used in OpenType applications, its Contextual Alternates feature produce a striking random-like effect on glyphs distribution, achieved by cycling through alternates. When not using the Contextual Alternates feature, you can still pick the alternates in the Glyphs palette or use the alternates available from the keyboard upper and lower case.

Circulaire is a set of initial caps designed by Sjoerd Hendrik de Roos in 1926, and digitized in 2009 by Hans van Maanen. Unusual serifs, spurs and swashes make for interesting continuity points in the familiarly angled shapes, while adding a unique calligrapher's touch to the beheld forms. As far as initials go, this set contains the extra touch of personality needed to lead into a paragraph, which is preferable to the usual swashed italics that are widely used. Frank H. Atkinson was a popular Art Nouveau sign painter in Chicago, Illinois. He designed signs for the Cadillac Motor Car Co., Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the department store Marshall Field. Oddly enough, he even designed signs for other sign painters. In 1908 he published a book, Sign Painting, which sold well. French Plug, a bold, rounded, all-cap design in an American Art Nouveau style from that book. It has a relaxed, easy-going informality that is useful for ads and flyers. It also would have fit very nicely with many French posters of the period.

Bloxic is a chunky, counter-less display typeface, packed full extra characters and some bonus icons! Drop Caps happen. They started off life as decorated initials way back when in the days of illuminated manuscripts. Then printing came and they became the work of the rubricators and then somewhere soon after printing began, at least by the 1490’s, they were printed directly into the text. This then is a collection of over a hundred glyphs from that closing decade of the Incunabula period. All of them are based on examples found in the works printed by Michael Wenssler in Basel. This font also contains a few useful pointing hands and a set of spacing characters.

MyScript is exactly that: my script; only this one is for everybody’s use! Originally I designed it as a Christmas present for my friends and clients; they liked it. So I thought other people might like it as well. I cleaned it up just enough so that it did not lose its character.
