The Jantze font is a project undertaken by Dan Bailey of Fontosaurus and Michael Jantze, creator of the nationally-syndicated comic strip, The Norm. All their royalties from the font will go to The Lance Armstrong Foundation. For those that have been living under a rock for the last five years, Lance is a professional bike racer that overcame advanced testicular cancer to not only come back to his sport, but to dominate its premiere event, the Tour de France. In climbing to the top of his sport, he has become a legend among cyclists and a beacon of hope for those battling cancer and their families. His foundation provides financial grants to researchers working to improve our odds against the disease, individuals stricken with cancer, and survivors of the disease that are advocates for survivorship issues in their communities. Hodgepodge is a confused mixture of letters that somehow work together. While I know this has been done before I create fonts that I need. And I occasionally have found a need for this. And it was not there, so now it is. There is a mixture of light and dark, bold and regular, caps and lower case but not where you would expect them to be. Since this is a headline font you can set the headline and then easily go back and change a letter here or there to get the best-looking combination. The "Ma" in "Ma Braille" is used as a minimalist way to say "Negative Space". "Ma" in japanese arts is an "esthetical usage of emptiness". Dueblo is a font family in serif, sans serif and semi serif with variability in weight and serifs. It's a classical antiqua with a sans serif basis, a semi serif version, two decor styles for headlines and initials and the italics in sans and in serif. The small caps, alternates as well as other useful optional and contextual open type features are included in the fonts. It has been in development since 2012 and in use for several projects and publications since 2015. It was worked on until 2020, the cyrillic and greek letters were added, and it was built up in a new and modern way. Now it's really ready for building words and paragraphs.

This typeface was inspired in my dragon drawings, I like dragons and I thought in designing a special font with that inspiration. As the picture tells it, I gave a beveled shape to its terminals, looking like brush traces. Some characters are intentionally opened to give it a distinctive appearance. The number "3" has a different form, combining a wide angle and an opened circle, variating the way to make it. This font is special for some titles and it can even be used in comic dialogues.

Why use a simple emoticon to express unhappiness or sadness when you can have an entire font proclaiming your feelings? This is a font that may work for notes of sympathy, whether real or in jest. For the smiley version, see AllSmiles, and if you only want to proclaim a only a little sadness, you can temper the feelings with a plain version of the typeface, FebDrei. In the update of 2011, emoticons were added in the appropriate unicode slots (unicode 1F601 to 1F640 slots)

Can noise be a beautiful sound? Well, I guess...because the other day when I was playing the good old Bleach album by Nirvana (which I consider lovely grunge music!) my wife yelled "Could you stop that noise?!" - and I answered "What noise?!" - ha-ha-ha! Anyway, I finished this font while listening to that particular lovely noise, and I knew that this crunchy, grungy, handmade and full of contextual alternates and multilingual font had to be named something with the word "noise" in it!

Matchmaker, a modern calligraphy typeface, was inspired by the various works of modern day calligraphers. Its tall, quirky, and juxtaposed letterforms provide a deviation from traditional calligraphy-inspired typefaces. The front page of a late-1940s sales catalog for the [now defunct] Duro Decal Company of Chicago had its company name hand-lettered in a tall, condensed chamfered sans serif type design. Although chamfered lettering had been popular for decades, the way the "R" was shaped gave the letters a bit of an Art Deco influence, and this influence was carried through in the creation of Durable JNL.

There were several motivations for this font. It was a font in my style, a left-handed designer. But also, I wanted a script designed to work with ePUBs. This means fancy bullets in place of some of the ASCII characters—since ePUB readers do not support OpenType at all. Basically, I just had fun with it. The heifer for the mu figure cracks me up. What can I say?

Originally ZionTrain was built as a (probably first in Cyrillic!) navigation typeface for the Kharkiv identity project and Kharkiv subway and airport navigation systems. We wanted comprehensible, distinctive letterforms, that can help everybody on the way from Babylon to Zion. The project was used in Kharkiv promotion at homeland and abroad, but was rejected by the new government. As a corporate typeface it was used for a few cultural projects.

This typeface has been influenced by the ongoing traffic congestion in Melbourne, and its lack of functional and reliable public transport as a possible solution. The font shapes are square-edged constrained angles, reflecting the way the Melbourne population feels when using the public transport system or roads. Use as headings and body copy in any graphic situation.

Font Lupo is the younger brother of Kapra. However, unlike Kapra it is characterized by the sharpness of the finish. It is inspired by a You And Me Monthly published by National Magazines Publisher RSW „Prasa” that appeared from Mai 1960 till December 1973 in Poland. Font Lupo is designed in one version – lower and uppercase characters.

Font Cervo is the younger sister of Kapra. It is characterized by eight different varieties – lower and uppercase characters and in contrast to Kapra is “slimmed” version (from Medium to Thin). It is inspired by a You And Me Monthly published by National Magazines Publisher RSW „Prasa” that appeared from May 1960 till December 1973 in Poland.

While browsing through a Dan Solo type reference book, Jeff Levine fell in love with the multiline stylings of one particular typeface, then sat down and re-drew from scratch his own interpretation of the design. Jeff's version is called Art Lover JNL - offering kudos to art in general, the Art Deco movement and (of course) type design.

VLNL Boulangerie was originally an incomplete set of early 20th century wood type letters, that Donald Roos found in a dust covered carton box stashed away somewhere at the Royal Academy in The Hague. Charmed by the letter forms Donald decided to print them on paper with a printing press. Next he digitised the prints as they came out, including small imperfections and damages. The missing characters were composed and added digitally to complete the alphabet. (See if you can spot those!?) We think VLNL Boulangerie is a little French in appearance (hence the name), it's joyful, warm, a little crunchy and round-ish. It defenitely has that ‘je-ne-sais-quoi’ that seperates it from most wood type grotesques. It can be perfect for lettering on a storefront window of – let's say a bread shop or a lunchroom. Or a logo for a downtown hipster café. VLNL Boulangerie hardly has any limitations actually.

Based on Irma La Douce film opening titles, Chez Moustache is a very eye-catching display font loaded with cool special effects. It is a unicase typeface with 2 versions for each letter, each easily accessible through upper and lower case keys. To prevent double letters from displaying the same glyph, just type the alternate glyph, or use the neat OpenType feature to make things even easier: just turn on the contextual alternates in any OpenType aware program and it's all done before you can say Jack Robinson. Did you push the stylistic alternates button instead of the contextual one? Voilà, so you've got a pocketful of flowers! There's a complete set of sweet stylistic alternates to instantly flourish your way. And it's not over yet: check out the cool initial and terminal forms for that extra twist. Pick your choices with a glyphs palette or just turn on the OpenType swash feature. Now go ahead, there's a lot to do Chez Moustache. But that's another story...
