Popty Ping is Welsh slang for microwave oven. It literally means ‘oven that goes ping’. Popty Ping was sort of based on an older font of mine called Jambo. It is a very happy cartoon font, ideal for children’s book covers, ice cream packaging and microwave popcorn (preferably the non GM kind). Comes in two great styles and more diacritics than you can pop in an oven!

Sofia City is a decorative hand-drawn family that can be used on both formal and informal occasions. It has a dual personality: One time it looks like unfinished contours of a sans serif, and the other - like a very thin serif. The family is named after the city of Sofia - the capital of Bulgaria, and my hometown. Sofia City comes in two versions - "Pencil" and "Ink" each with full character set and true italics. Also there is a free demo version (capital letters only).

Austrian Cartoonist Wolfgang Ammer lent his handwriting to this font, which was produced by Miriam Surányi. Wolfgang already uses the font in his daily routine: It facilitates corrections and translations of his cartoons for international newspapers. Rich in contextual alternates, Ammer contains about 1800 glyphs. Each character has multiple alternates. And a complex OpenType substitution feature makes sure that the same variant does not appear twice in a line. As a special gimmick, the font contains a Tic Tac Toe game: To activate it, type a # and turn on stylistic set 20. Then use digits 1–9 for setting the naughts and crosses on their places. The enclosed TT variant has a reduced glyph set and therefore a smaller file size, hence it is better suited for use on the web.

In today's typographic landscape, few would still consider Bodoni to have a "modern" feel, but there was once a time when it's vertical axis and thinned horizontal strokes were considered radical. Volterra—inspired by the forms of Bodoni—finishes what Bodoni started and eliminates the horizontal stroke altogether, breathing an elegant new energy into a 200-year-old classic. Named for the artist hired to paint loincloths over Michelangelo's "Last Judgement" when nudity in religious art was condemned, Volterra acknowledges that it is no easy feat picking up where a master left off. Barnsley Gothic is a condensed sans serif font family. It was designed by Steve Jackaman (ITF) in 2017. The family is named after the town of Barnsley, a coal mining town in Yorkshire, England. In 1960, there were roughly seventy collieries within a fifteen-mile radius of Barnsley town center, however the last of these closed in 1994. Sideroad is an intensive hand-drawn brush script font. It comes in two versions, Textured and Smooth. Textured version has this rough effect that comes when letters are drawn with pointed-brush on rugged surface. The Smooth version is, like the name says, smooth as silk with polished edges and properly drawn forms. Sideroad includes two sets of lower case letters to give variation and more imperfect hand-drawn effect. You can cycle these two sets by enabling Contextual Alternates OpenType feature. It also has set of lower cases without connector strokes. And a set of lower cases with end swashes. On top of these there are also a few underlines to give that final punch to your design.

SAV Display PT is directly inspired from hand-painted commercial signage found around Savannah, Georgia. There is a strong tradition of hand-painted signs adorning small car wash stations, to beauty salons, to mechanics and restaurants. Currently a collection of about four to five painters account for the majority of the signs. This font was derived from 10 uppercase letters that seemed to represent the aesthetic thread found throughout the signs. There are no lowercase letters found in these signs, so the lowercase of the font had to be designed from scratch. I felt this added versatility to the font and its possibilities for usage. This font is strictly a display font. However, because of the apparent roots (intended or unintended) of the lettering to transitional/modern modulated fonts, it does read surprising well at smaller sizes.

The Killegar family is inspired by one of the great houses of Ireland...Killegar—which is on the grand Estate of Killegar. I lived there for many years. It is a quiet and peaceful place surrounded by lakes and trees and is inspirational in so many ways. All of my creative talents were boosted by this amazing two hundred year old building with all of it's secrets and heritage. Time stood still in Killegar....except for me and my modern day computers, cell phones and fax machines. This twist of fate, with me living both a rural and hi-tech life, living in an environment of the early 18th century, with the friendliest local people on the Earth, played it's part in the origin of the Killegar family of fonts. The cover title for the July, 1935 issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine was hand lettered in a condensed, squared slab serif design with a few stylized characters. This is now available as Stylish Title JNL, in both regular and oblique versions. For many years, each issue of the magazine had its title rendered in different type styles; offering many unique variations to coincide with that month’s cover art.

Sheet music for the 1915 song "Is There Still Room for Me Neath the Old Apple Tree" had the title hand-lettered in a condensed, square sans serif. Although far from the more decorative lettering styles of the Art Nouveau period, this type of simple understatement was also a popular choice for the illustrators of the day. It is presented digitally as Nouveau Square JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

El Guapo is a hand drawn font available in sans serif and script faces. It is suitable for headlines and call outs of all kinds where a hand made look is desired. Grava is Neil Summerour’s injection of warmth within the geometric sans font category. Historically, geometric sans families have been based on primal shapes — triangle, circle, square — and the more closely they held to those rigid rules, the more internal inconsistencies they showed.
