Goodwater is an original collection of a Brush, three weights of a monoline Script and four weights of condensed Sans typeface. Goodwater also has a “Print” version with rugged outline and worn-out texture of each font. Goodwater is a great pack for any display use from online to logo and from headline to packaging. All the styles are designed using the same proportions and soft corners so that they’ll place nice together. Being a geometric sanserif ocr-t comes in eleven weights from ultrawhite to infrablack (brightwhite, white, silver, lightgrey, grey, darkgrey, anthracite, black, jetblack). With more than 600 glyphs it covers all your typographic needs and manages to stay at the same place no matter which width you’re using. Its readability and legibility is more than fine although it needs no kerning. The infrablack is really black, in order to achieve this, the form of letters change from darkgrey to anthracite from upright to some kind of upright italic. This also gives opportunity to mix two weights with same colour but different architecture. The first sans serif types were made in London in the early 19th century. They were severely modern, all caps and bold. The Figgins foundry, inventor of the term sans serif, showed a ?ne example in its specimen of 1836. The extra bold weight of Figgins Sans is a close revival of the original, with the addition of a lower case which retains its partly geometric, partly grotesque quality. The family is rounded out with other weights and an italic, and extended into Cyrillic and Greek, all executed in what is assumed to be as authentic a manner as possible, given the hypothetical nature of the exercise. Together with Scotch Modern, comprises The Modern Suite of matched fonts.

I'll admit right off the bat here -- I've never been to a party in a barn. I don't even know if they still do barn dances and parties, or if that's something out of the musical Oklahoma! or something. But this font gave me kind of a homey, rustic feel, so the name felt right! Like many of my fonts, this one has been refined with crafters in mind -- smoothed curves and reduced nodes, for easy cutting and printing. It's also packed with over 600 characters total! In the nineteen-twenties and early thirties, all display typography flourished in Europe. Mister Earl, released by Bitstream in 1991, was designed by Jennifer Maestre. Inspiration came from a page in a ‘how-to’ book published in the 1930s. MB Vinatage is a 6 weight font family with italics that has its roots based firmly in the type and font design of the early 20th Century. Linotype Schwennel is part of the Take Type Library, selected from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. This prize-winning font was designed by the German artist Svenja Voss. The figures seem to have been somehow eroded, parts of some strokes are completely missing, contours seem washed away. The eye works to put the pieces together to form a meaningful series of figures. The second weight, lila+negro, completes the letter fragments of the lila weight. Missing pieces are filled in and contours completed, making the resulting text stronger and a bit more legible. Linotype Schnwennel is intended exclusively for headlines in larger point sizes.

Twentieth Century was designed and drawn by Sol Hess in the Lanston Monotype drawing office between 1936 and 1947. The first weights were added to the Monotype typeface library in 1959. Twentieth Century is based on geometric shapes which originated in Germany in the early 1920's and became an integral part of the Bauhaus movement of that time. Paperclip Wire is a great font for anyone looking to have a straightforward yet elegant look. All letters consist of Capitals yet the uppercase letters are exaggerated. Because of the nature of the font I suggest using it in no less than 20 pt. font. However, because it is simple it can easily be read when printed. This typeface was developed loosely based on a paper clip itself. the x-height was determined based off the size ratio of the clip and the cap height was based off of a paper clip as it is folded open. The overall shape is straight lines and subtle curves, all relating to each other to allow for a constant flow of letters.

Gerolinda has almost 1900 glyphs per weight; with its OpenType features it recreates the feeling of a mid-19th century Italian gentlewoman's handwriting. Of course, the only clue to this typeface is the lettering instruction book at hand. Therefore, this typeface is based on the British Rail corporate type introduced in an old lettering instruction book published in Japan, and I have expanded the design variations. I started with the Bold design first. Then I designed Light, Regular, and Black in that order. Light and Regular are intended to be used as the text type, while Bold and Black are intended to be used as the base for logotypes, headlines, and other eye-catchers.
