The starting point for Wildcat was the 3×5 squared grid popular for tiled lettering and American sportswear typefaces. However, Wildcat breaks free of the net whenever necessary. This "Leaf" font has been swirling in my head for years - I remember my sister and I making letter formations like these when I was young.
