The Vtg Stencil series of fonts from astype are based on real world stencils. These stencils were used in the 50's and 60's by the US Army. If you are interested in the current stencil design, please have a look at Vtg Stencil US No.72 .

Rhetoric is a friendly display typeface that’s full of personality. AltraTwo is a complete redraw of a family based on a tracing of a clip art font from an old printed book. The AltraTwo family adds italic, black, and black italic. I liked the gentle calligraphic look. Consider it a sans serif with style. This is a typical NuevoDeco OpenType pro font with caps, lowercase, small caps, lining, oldstyle, and small cap figures, numerators, denominators, fractions, swashes, and so on. There aren't many unusal ligatures for this one, though. It does have the Latin 2 character set or what Adobe calls CE, Central European characters. Altra has been my preferred header face for sevral years. it also works very well for body copy. I usually use it for my contrasting tip and quote paragraphs with Bergsland Pro as my normal body copy.

Cunaeus is intended primarily for use in running text. It brings together the types of two renowned sixteenth-century punchcutters: the roman is an interpretation of a pica font cut by Ameet Tavernier (c.1522–1570), and the italic that of a pica font of Robert Granjon (1513–1589/90). Granjon’s italics have inspired a number of revivals in the past, but usually of his more slanted styles; the present digitization features the lesser slant of his so-called ‘droit’ style typical of the mid 1560s. Cunaeus provides wide support for west, central, and east European languages that use the roman alphabet. Among its OpenType features are ligatures, small caps, several sets of numerals, contextual alternates, intelligent implementation of long ‘s’, and fractions. Boho is inspired by a bohemian girl who is a free soul and creative spirit. She is a city girl, but she loves spending a lot of time outdoors and being close to nature. Boho is Coto Mendoza’s first Script font family, which is based on gestual calligraphy with Cola pen. The mystic sadness of the sight Of a far town seen in the night. Frutiger Next is Adrian Frutiger's and Linotype's completely new interpretation of the well known typeface Frutiger released in 2000. Guillaume is a small family of text fonts with its roots in the French sixteenth century. The roman is based on the types of Guillaume Le Bé (c.1525–1598), and the italic on those of Claude Garamont (Garamond) (d. 1561). Churchward 69 is a ten weight typeface family originally designed during the late 1960’s by the late type designer Joseph Churchward. From the extremely condensed Regular weight to the outlandishly heavy Ultra Black, this square sans serif makes an audacious statement. Even the Italics are extreme at their 17 degree angle! Churchward 69 includes 5 weights, Regular, Bold, Extra Bold, Black, and the gorgeous Ultra Black, and their italics. Joseph sure knew how to draw heavy weights! Honey Bee is a type family developed over the course of 2020. Consisting of two sub-families that share the same DNA of two opposing styles. Honey Bee Serif is a transitional modern serif with some reference to fundamental letterforms. Honey Bee Sans is a low contrast semi-geometric sans serif with bold rounded letterforms. These typefaces were made in unison, designed for perfect font pairing for a variety of projects and intensions. This is the Cased version of my NorB Pen fonts are being inspired from Arial Round font, I use this font regularly in my jazz lead-sheets. It's a handwritten text font emulating marker permanent pen. The Englishman William Caslon punchcut many roman, italic, and non-Latin typefaces from 1720 until his death in 1766. At that time most types were being imported to England from Dutch sources, so Caslon was influenced by the characteristics of Dutch types. He did, however, achieve a level of craft that enabled his recognition as the first great English punchcutter. The original Caslon specimen sheets and punches have long provided a fertile source for the range of types bearing his name. Identifying characteristics of most Caslons include a cap A with a scooped-out apex; a cap C with two full serifs; and in the italic, a swashed lowercase v and w. A few of the many interpretations from the early twentieth century were true to the source, as well as strong enough to last into the digital era. These include two from the American Type Founders company, Caslon 540 and the slightly heavier Caslon #3. Both fonts are relatively wide, and come complete with small caps, old style figures, and italics.

Cinemas from the early 20th century are called “Lichtspiele” in Germany. “Lichtspiele” transports you back to a time where neon lights and marquee letters decorated cinema façades. Of the five styles, three have two versions of italics — the left-leaning italic evokes looking up from lower-left, the right-leaning italic is as if we are looking from lower-right.
