A revival of “Gras Vibert”, a French fat face originally cast by the Didot typefoundry in Paris. It was cut in 1840 by Vibert, an engraver employed by the foundry. The capitals are heavier than the lowercase letters, and the characters g, k, y and & are rather peculiarly shaped, exaggerating the vertical stress. The font is designed for large sizes.

Gift Wrap JNL takes a classic wood type display font and cuts it into diagonal striped lines to emulate package wrapping paper. An interesting side effect of the lettering is that at first glance you might perceive the style as being an oblique, but the letters are actually vertical. The latest addition to the Astoria Range, Astoria Classic Sans has the same basic Characteristics as Astoria but with vertical stress. A sans-serif companion to Astoria Sans. Unlike Astoria, but like Astoria Classic, the Italics in form are old style yet with a modern look. Designed specificaly as a text face it still works very well as a headline font.

No secret here: this typeface was inspired by the opening credits for the television series "Justified." The famous Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudí, used to say “there are no straight lines or sharp corners in nature…” However, with Between The Lines that’s exactly what you’ll find: straight lines, parallel and perpendicular, all in a glorious display of Art Deco style. Fossa is an unconventional serif designed primarily as a display typeface. Its splayed, pinched vertical strokes and pointy wedge serifs give it a distinct flavour. The style for Fossa was initially conceived while studying the forms of Optima – in particular, the subtle taper towards the midpoint of the stems and strokes. Taking the idea of vertical strokes with a nipped waist to the extreme, Fossa was born. The sharper style created by these vertical strokes is echoed within the serifs, resulting in a contemporary wedge serif with an elegant but dramatic character.
