“Loyolliams” is my first designed Latin typeface which has special meanings and unforgettable memories for me. The font's name, Loyolliams, consists of two mixed syllables stand for two different names. The first syllable is derived from the name “Loyola” and the second syllable is derived from the last five letters of the name “Williams.” These two names are related to “Concordia University”—located in Montreal in Canada—where I studied at a short academic term and spent in a very special period of my life in the late 2005. This renowned Canadian academic institution was created following the 1974 merger of “Loyola College” (1896) and “Sir George Williams University” (1926). This conglomeration formed “Concordia University” and the name Concordia itself was taken from the motto of the city of Montreal, Concordia salus (meaning ‘well-being through harmony’). This font comes in two different weights; light and regular. “Loyolliams” is a square, geometric, techno, and modern font. It is suitable for T-shirts, books' covers, websites’ addresses, advertisement light boards, and titles in technical, artistic, and other types of magazines and signboards. “Loyolliams” can be used also in posters, surfaces of electrical and electronic tools, digital devices and chips, geometrical machines, trucks, tractors, calculators, mobile phones, watches, laptops, personal computers, power equipments, digital cameras, technical magazines, and other digital and electronic tools. ITC Lubalin Graph® was initially designed by Herb Lubalin and drawn to fit the requirements of typographic reproduction by Tony DiSpigna and Joe Sundwall in 1974. Its underlying forms are those of Lubalin's previously released ITC Avant Garde Gothic, but its shapes were modified to accommodate large slab serifs. This bold yet elegant script is patterned after the logotype lettering from a 1927 issue of the French film magazine named, not surprisingly, Ciné Miroir. The first plain weight of Cutoff was designed in 2005 to be used in Miele, an independent Italian free magazine. The need was for an elegant, unusual and legible semi-serif with contemporary flavour. I was fascinated by the deconstructivist work of Jeff Keedy (Hard Times Thick), Phil Baines (Can You, You Can) and Otl Aicher (Rotis), so my aim was to get the feeling of a cut transitional typeface; at the same time felt the exigence to work on the whole shape of the glyphs, in order to soften the “90s deconstructivist” effect and obtain a more balanced and readable design. In the last years I further worked on the typeface adding the other styles, extending the character set and refining the letterforms. Finally the precious collaboration with URW++ brought in 2010 to a complete OpenType Pro font family, with multilingual and advanced typographic features. Fulvio Bisca, July 2010

Deco is a minimal, easy-to-read gothic without fuss. Geometry is sharp, strokes are uniform throughout, and characters are slightly condensed. This version is based on wood type of unknown origin, but the design was likely based on lettering from the Art Deco period of the 1920s and '30s.

Catalan is inspired by such influential artists as Antonio Gaudi, Joan Miro, and Salvador Dali with glimmers of the work of Jean Arp and Pablo Picasso. Oxe is common expression among people in the northeast of Brazil, a slang that expresses amazement and baptizes the digital type created in 1999 by Buggy.

Erratic JNL earns its name from the varying widths and shapes of the hand lettering found on some old Art-Deco era sheet music. Following this unusual pattern throughout the complete typeface, the user finds a mix of traditional Deco type design and an overly wide M, N, W and 8.

French Calligraphic JNL is actually more semi-calligraphic in nature. Its name takes a descriptive liberty because of the sharp, angled pen strokes of the original hand lettered example found in the 1930s publication "100 Alphabets Publicitaires" by M. Moullet. The design is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Delvona is a contemporary serif typeface, retro styled with a strong personality and a soft look. And also its high contrast and very simple and easily recognizable shape make it very easy to read. Delvona was inspired by the serif typography used in editorial headlines in the 80s. Delvona excels in display settings such as headlines, titles, branding projects, Logo design, packaging, magazine titles, advertisements, short or long text.

Bingley is a beautifully old-fashioned, proper, and full of class body typeface. The British feel of this face comes from its inspirational source—a tombstone script from Oxford. The characters are squat and nearly square in proportions, even cursive comes with a pronounced breadth. Generous counters and pleasant stroke weight contrast ensure high legibility of any text set in Bingley. Pronounced serifs and drop-shaped terminals further enrich the experience.

Clarinetist Milton ?Mezz? Mezzrow (1899-1972) was a remarkable jazz musician, as becomes evident upon reading his autobiography Really the Blues. His sharp tone and serpentine lines inspired English lettering artist and jazz lover Michael Harvey to create a condensed, oblique display typeface with the look of a chiseled alphabet in the musician's honor. Vertical formats such as book jackets and posters will be invigorated by Mezz as the display face.

Tecna is a modern sans typeface with straight cuts, rounded angles and curved thinnings at the endings that make the letter shapes fresher. The rounded characters are squarish giving to the layout a very structural appearance. Its wide proportions give big impact to the texts. It has a tall x-height that enhances its legibility in smaller sizes. Its character set has coverage for Western and Central European languages.

Neuville is a geometric and low-contrast sans serif for everyday use related to typography. The shapes of the characters are clear, simple and balanced to allow for legibility and help the typeface deliver the contents with a neutral and objective voice. The Neuville family includes three weights and has a wide range of OpenType features such as tabular figures, numerators and denominators, superscript and subscript numbers, and case-sensitive forms.

Andrea Tartarelli discovered the letterforms that would inspire his Gronau family in a 1912 specimen that showcased the typeface Fette Reichs-Deutsch, designed by Wilhelm Gronau in 1902. Fette Reichs Deutsch has been digitised by Tartarelli as Gronau Fette. With Gronau Neue, Tartarelli tried to find a contemporary, gestural interpretation of blackletter shapes, adding a slightly calligraphic look and feel to the original hasty lines and energetic construction.
