Eckhardt Poster Deco JNL is a continuation of a series of sign painter's fonts, and was modeled from a lettering example found within the pages of an old sign design manual. It is named, as always, in honor of the late Albert Eckhardt, Jr., the owner of Allied signs in Miami, Florida and Jeff Levine's good friend.

Toshna is a classic garaldic typeface family offering three real optical type sizes. The Display weight for titles and headlines is kept very tall, thin and graceful. The Book weight for body text is drawn essentially wider, more round with robust, bold details. The punctuations and accents strictly serve the demands of body text. They are substantially bigger and more readable. Despite the fact that the width is running economically, the user notes the fonts ‘big face, that qualifies for eye friendly long texts.

Bowdon is a warm, Bodoni-inspired English Modern, influenced by the 1930s lettering of designer Barnett Freedman. Slightly rounded corners give characters a printed-look softness, and hairlines are thickened a little to increase legibility at smaller sizes, reducing the harshness and dazzle that can afflict Didone typefaces. Bowdon is supplied in three widths – Regular, Wide and Narrow – and each width is accompanied by a utilitarian oblique rather than a fancy italic. Mentone is a new general purpose typeface, an attempt at extending the line of the great sans-serifs of the previous century, Frutiger - Stone Sans - Myriad. The font has round corners and subtle chamfers, which are all but invisible at text sizes, but add an upbeat, irreverent expression at display sizes. The typeface is named after the beautiful bayside suburb of Melbourne, Australia, where the designer lives. This new version (2.01) was spaced and kerned by Igino Marini of iKern. We introduced the Crubstone font which was released and received great exposure from users and font fans all over the world. Massive development of experiments on alternative letters. We redesigned each shape to make it more functional and comfortable as the text size increased. Apart from rejuvenating the shape of the letters, we also applied italic styles to provide a wide choice of styles.

Breakdance is inspired by dance moves, the first font created with this concept is sans serif with a curved shape in one direction. Curves are made not too extreme, so that they maintain the shape balance. And now Breakdance comes in several styles and is divided into three typesface, namely script, sans and serif. French Serif Moderne JNL gives a slab serif treatment to the lettering comprising Jeff Levine's French Art Initials JNL. The font - containing a full character set - was inspired by a page from an early 20th Century French alphabet book posted online at an image sharing site.

The revival of this 1932 classic design by W. Schwerdtner for the Stempel Foundry in Germany brings back the fashion and culture of those bygone days. Wedge-shaped vertical strokes are thicker at the top than at the bottom while serifs are somewhat elongated, thin, and pointy. Here is an excellent choice for large display settings where capturing the spirit of the 1920s and 30s is important. Metropolis SG is also available in the OpenType Std format. Some new characters have been added to this OpenType version. Advanced features currently work in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Creative Suite Illustrator, and Quark XPress 7. Check for OpenType advanced feature support in other applications as it gradually becomes available with upgrades.

🏆 Selected for Tipos Latinos 9. Bork is a display typeface that was inspired by an exercise in blackletter calligraphy. The style’s characteristic dark texture is seen mainly in the lowercase, with uniform spacing (where counterspace equals letterspace), shapes that recall the straight, interrupted strokes used in that style of writing, and the peculiar construction of certain letters. On the other hand, the uppercase aims for a more conventional roman construction, making it more legible for modern-day readers. It features an extensive character set that includes contextual and stylistic alternates, superior/inferior figures, arbitrary fractions, as well as several unusual ornaments, symbols and punctuation. Bork is especially suited for use in book covers, headlines, packaging and logotypes.

'Meeeeoooow'! Seventies is another of my 'funkadelic' attempts (1) to fill the existing gap of seventyish looking fonts. In my opinion, that decade has a hidden treasure regarding type that remains unexplored: Only very few fonts rescue its 'groovy' essence, its ‘colourful’ qualities. But, don't have a cow man , and keep on truckin! With Seventies, my new foxy mama , your projects will stand out among the rest. Since there’s not much information available about this kind of lettering I had to get ideas from other styles: Nowadays it’s easy to find all kind of books or guides to understand and practice how different styles of calligraphy and lettering should be done. However, for some reason, 60s and 70s letters seemed to ignore/be free of rules... Was this suggesting the birth of postmodernism? I incorporated some ideas of the copperplate style of calligraphy: The ductus of its forms may be compared to the way letters are made in snell/engrosser’s script. Obviously, this is just the idea behind; the delicacy of thins is replaced here with the graceful imprint of really thick thicks with a brushy look and tons of good vibe . Seventies will work awesome in posters, brands, magazines, book-covers of any kind, due to its modern look adapted to our century. Well, catch you on the flip~side !
