Directa Serif is a text type family designed to save space with the maximum readability. Because of its general forms and proportions (a little bit condensed, big x-height, low contrast) it can be used in smaller sizes than usual for body text. It is highly recommended for newspapers, magazines, corporate communication and so on. The first Tuscan lettering was penned in the mid-fourth century by the calligrapher Furius Dionysius Filocalus.
