The 1914 sign lettering instruction book “Art Alphabets and Lettering” by J. M. Bergling showcased many hand lettered alphabets as an inspiration to both up-and-coming and established sign painters. This set of initial decorated letters was inspired by a font in use in the beginning of 1500s in Paris.
