Greatest Fortune is an incredibly realistic and perfect handwritten font duo. The combination of various ligature (uniquely designed letter combinations) makes the font look more natural. In addition, the Greatest Fortune font also includes an all-caps version, complete with an alternative to the letters A-Z. Suitable as emphasis in a word or as a standalone font. The old characters of the 8th century are the inspiration for this font. Specifically those used during a remote time of the Basque Country - or waskonia as the Franks would call it - in the old gravestones and doors entryways.

While this bold, chamfered typeface may look like a sports font, it actually came from the opening credits for the 1955 Western film “The Man from Bitter Ridge”. Game Rules JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Glyphic Neue was inspired by the Op Art style of lettering in the United States that ran rampant in many photo type houses in the 1960's and 1970's. The Glyphic Series from the Franklin Photolettering group was an influence and spring board for this family of fonts, hence it's name. But Glyphic Neue departs from its unicase Franklin influence in several ways. Firstly the designer created both upper and lower case forms. The lowercase has been designed with barley protruding ascenders and descenders and with an x-height equivalent to the cap height, so that upper and lower can be exchanged indiscriminately for a quirky effect. Some of the letters take a cue from the original Glyphic series but many have been redesigned entirely to fit the designers vision. The italic forms differ enough from the upright version making it almost an entirely different display alphabet. Glyphic Neue is a versatile family of 6 fonts -- 3 widths, each with an accompanying italic that look equally at home when used on a party flier or a sports team visual identity.

Dutch Mediaeval Book ST is a special version of the popular Dutch Mediaeval Book text fonts, engineered specifically for science writing. It is equipped with SciType, a combination of additional characters and OpenType programming included in the fonts to help in typesetting science text. For more information about SciType, please consult the SciType FAQ available in the Gallery section of this page. The Dutch Mediæval design is the historically renowned one made in 1912 by S. H. de Roos. It stands out as one of the most classic Dutch text faces. This Book version comes in two weights and an italic, optimized for body copy use between 8 and 12 pt. Aside from the SciType additions, all the fonts contain OpenType features for ligatures, ordinals, automatic fractions, eight kinds of figures, and a few ornaments. Armature Neue is an extension and clarification of the original Armature family released in 1997. We made the distribution of weights more even, and added italics extra light and black weights. Originally consisting of four fonts, Armature Neue has twelve: six weights with accompanying italics. Although conceived as a display face, a number of alternate characters are included that can be used to regularize the type for text setting. Armature is one result of my interest in typefaces that are constructed, rather than drawn. Although it is basically a monoline design, there are subtle details throughout that compensate for a monoline’s evenness. As with all fontBoy fonts, there are dingbats hidden away in the dark recesses of the keyboard. When I first started designing this face in 1992, I called it Dino-I thought I would name all my fonts after famous pets-so the dingbats for Armature are dinosaurs. Designed by Bob Aufuldish with editing and production by Psy/Ops.

The regular style of this family was inspired from the typeface used in Nuremberg, Germany, by Johannes Petreius in 1543 to print the famous “De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium,” the well-known mathematical and astronomical essay by Nicolaus Copernicus. Petreius was also using an original italic style, as he did for the “De Sculptura” by Gaurico Pomponio, in 1542. Unfortunately, nobody seems to know who was the punchcutter of this Jenson-style font. Also included is a title file, containing initials (without diacritics) and small caps (with diacritics). In our three styles (Regular & Italic + Titling), font faces, kerning and spacing are as closely as possible identical to the original. This Pro font is covering Western, Eastern and Central European, Baltic and Turkish languages, with standard and long-s ligatures in regular and italic styles. Both have twin-letter ligatures, but the italic style has extra (genuine) ligatures for f and t with vowels.

German designer Rosemarie Kloos-Rau created Wiesbaden Swing in 1992 for Linotype. This light, informal typeface is based on her own handwriting, and the strokes have a feeling of spontaneity and energetic flair. Gobble gobble gobble! The Gobbler font was drawn with a leaky pen on a napkin at the Modern Cafe in Northeast Minneapolis while the designer, Mister Chank Diesel, was waiting for some pot roast. “Apple cobbler drippings on the napkin add more character to the strokes of each letter,” says Chank. This font was originally named Modern Napkin, a free font released in 1997. Chank completed the character set, fixed some curves, and cleaned up some of the apple cobbler to make a more elegant font in 1999. Gobbler works great for either text or display purposes.
