We wanted to make an ultra-thin, tall font with a rough, hand-drawn look and ended up with more than we bargained for. To get the font we wanted we started by developing a source font for the basic letter shapes and we ended up with a whole bunch of variations of the basic style. Thus was born the new Ducatus family of fonts, starting with Ducatus Light which developed into the Medium and Heavy versions, and the Medium weight was ultimately used as the basis for the Ducatus Rough font, which was the goal of the project in the first place. Ducatus Rough was created by modifying Ducatus Medium in Photoshop using Gallery Effects and several other filter packages, and then redoing the outlines from scratch in Fontographer. A lot of work, but the result is just what we wanted.

The typeface PLAKAT Wood is designed from 2021 for the font foundry Typo Graphic Design by Manuel Viergutz. The display font based on the original wood letter from Paul Renners typeface Plak Schmalfette and is inspired in the past and present. Secca Soft is the rounded sister of Secca font family. With its workhorse qualities, Secca Soft is perfectly suited for a wide range of applications - especially where legibility and economy are important factors. It comes with a wide language support and many typographic features and extras. The family comes in nine weights from Thin to Ultra Black - each with italics, small caps and italic small caps. Varisse spans over two centuries of type design and draws its inspiration from well-loved classics that are as fresh today as they were when they were created. The idea was to create a family that shared similar forms and the same vertical metrics, allowing them to be mixed to provide impact and readability as required. Samman is a Kufic simple Arabic typeface. It can be used to decorate public signs in streets, airports, hospitals, schools, malls, hotels, mosques, and other public places. My family's surname is "Samman" which stands for the person who sells fat especially the one produced by cows ("Samn" in Arabic). Consequently, "Samman" Typeface was designed for eternizing the memory of my family. The main characteristic of "Samman" Typeface is the leaf-shaped style for some of its Arabic characters such as "Dad", "Sad", "Faa", "Meem" and others. The distinguishing artistic design of its "Haa" character adds a unique feature to this typeface especially when connected with other characters. The shape of the characters' "dot", "dots", and "point" is innovative; a triangle with a semi-circle shape. "Samman" Typeface is suitable for books' covers, advertisement light boards, and titles in magazines and newspapers. Its characters' modern Kufic styles give the typeface more distinction when it is used also in posters, greeting cards, covers, exhibitions' signboards and external or internal walls of malls or metro's exits and entrances. It can also be used in titles for Arabic news and advertisements appeared in different Arabic and foreign satellite channels.

ITC Newtext was designed by Ray Baker, who created a well designed and legible typeface and built into it every design refinement which could optimize its usefulness. The expanded shapes are generous and legible and the economical vertical set results in more lines to the page.

Minangrasa is a blackletter inspired by traditional houses in West Sumatra, Indonesia which are shaped like cow horns. It's bold and fun with a retro twist. Using all caps results in very stylish text, while combining capital letters produces text that is very easy to read.
