Mynaruse Royale is an expansion of Mynaruse Titling. It features script capitals and widely tracked and smaller titling capitals. He named Gertrud after his better half, but was also inspired by old handwritten documents: "Gertrud is a calligraphic letter design from the 16th century. Pema – a contemporary Tibetan sans serif encoded in the Unicode standard. This is the first Tibetan typeface influenced by western sans serif fonts. It was designed especially to match multilingual purposes. The rather calligraphic Tibetan scripts did not match with the design aesthetics of western and Indian fonts and so I came up with the idea to design a “modern” Tibetan sans serif. Pema comes in two weights, Regular and Bold, each equipped with almost 1.300 glyphs.

Rick Bradley - known for his Fine Hand, Bible Script, Bradley Hand and Calligraphic Ornaments - drew this font from a gravestone in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, dated 1241. The irregularity lends a special charm to this 'English dialect' version of the international Lombardic style, while the ornamental points reflect the mediaeval 'horror vacui', fear of empty spaces where the evil one might creep in with his influences. Perhaps most useful as a display font, but complete with lower case and extras.

It was my first attempt to drawing a Hebrew alphabet to mach directly with other typeface (Latin) which I already designed. The Latin version is an handwriting display typeface influenced by chancery handwriting from the Italian Renaissance (broad-nib pen). One of the most typographic characteristic is there wavy forms, especially the serifs, where contains some of the main calligraphic references from this font family. The Hebrew script contain reverse contrast, the vertical proportions are more tall and the stroke weight is slightly more strong than latin lowercase to produce a correct visual balance between them, especially on small sizes (text proportions). This Hebrew square book-hand was influenced by Sephardic script style. The Latin characters contains interrupted strokes, the same was made for Hebrew letterforms to transpose correctly the same calligraphic approach between these two different alphabets.
