DuBois JNL is based on hand lettering designed by Albert DuBois of New York City, and originally titled "Round Block". His design was found in an old sign painters' design book from the early 1900s and has been translated to digital form by Jeff Levine. All of the quirks and charm of hand lettering have remained.

Hand lettering found across the sheet music cover of 1931's "Bend Down, Sister" [from the Eddie Cantor film "Palmy Days"] covered a couple of varying Art Deco styles; both made with a round-tipped pen nib. Deco Pen JNL combines the best of both styles into one design that's available in both regular and oblique versions.

The name Norden means “the Nordic”, as in the geographical area or its countries. Inspired by the simplicity of Nordic and Scandinavian design, the Norden fonts give you clarity of expression, beyond the usual geometric look and feel of traditional sans-serifs. Open and spacious, the shapes of the glyphs play both with and against each other. Round and soft versus square and solid, a basic curve versus a straight line, creating a detached yet distinct style of expression, from the light-as-air Hairline to dark and Bold. The Display variant has diagonal as well as slightly rounded ends, similar to the Standard version but with and edge, so to say. Donald DBXL Beekman lives on a ship in Amsterdam’s waters (well, the Amstel river, actually). Living on the water inspired him to design this ‘cruise ship’ typeface VLNL Decks. Available in several variations, it’s a fabulous cocktail of freshly caught fish typography. Decks is recommended for seafood restaurants, speed boats as well as slick city boys wearing overly expensive sunglasses or Ibiza sunset parties. Decks is the tiger prawn amidst sea foods. Its constructed design interprets rounded corners as three 30° angles, resulting in edged terminals and twelve-sided dots. While it sounds functional, this rounded-like semi-serif enhances the appearance, creating a friendly aesthetic. The lowercase alphabet features a high x-height. Engram (2015-2020) designed by Mateusz Machalski is a classical sans geometric family. This typeface is characterised by a lot of details, which gives it a friendly character. Scalable x height, rounded corners makes Engram good choice for many purposes. All family consist 22 styles with italics from Hairline to Black.

A minimal rounded typeface inspired by architecture and furniture detail drawings. A set of rounded Art Deco initials set inside circular borders was found amongst the pages of the vintage French lettering book "Modèles de Lettres Modernes par Georges Léculier”. Now made into a digital font called Deco Spot Initials JNL, these classic letter forms are available in both the original white-on-black version and as a black-on-white alternate design.

A playful, casual take on round nib pen lettering was spotted amongst some online scans from an old lettering book. The free-form and stylized shapes of the letters and numbers are reminiscent of old-time show cards, movie titles and signage in vogue around the early 1900s through the 1920s. Technobaby is a funky futuristic font done with modular letterforms. This typeface arose from playing around with the basic rounded rectangle shape. Jason wanted to see how many different letters he could create by simply changing the locations of the slots cut into the rectangles. Overall it lends the font a very cohesive and unique look. Numis was born out of a coin collecting hobby. A quick survey of coins from the late medieval to modern periods to today led to this unicase design. The rounded corners and smoothed edges are meant to evoke a the slightly worn letterfaces found on old coins; a process that tends to bolden the text before being rubbed away completely.

Town and Country JNL features a mix of block-style characters along with rounded ones found so often in the Art Deco fonts of the 1940s. Modeled from the hand-lettered title on a piece of sheet music from that era, this unusual coupling of two distinct design styles works despite it breaking all of the obvious rules of typography.

The idea of symmetry came to me when I was lookig for a geometric sans font. None of the things that I found did have the mathematically perfect symmetry. So, I went ahead and created one. I have used complex mathematical equations to get the perfect angle in every letter. Diameter comes with two styles square corner and rounded corner, each with regular and bold weights.
