A sign at the 81st Street (Museum of Natural History) New York subway stop provided the pattern for this mosaic tile face. We created this family in an attempt to submit a Plantin's font pattern overview. So it is not a real historical font, but a "looking like". I’m happy to announce the complete version of Ancora, a typeface I designed back in 2013. Ancora is a sans serif typeface with a distinctive style, inspired by the imagery in the production of the famous Port wine, such as boats, barrels, grapes, and bottle labels.
