Jim Parkinson's Diablo typeface is a single weight display design. The look comes from samples found in early 20th century books on hand-lettering books, as well as general poster lettering styles from that same of the period. Diablo has a touch of the Arts and Crafts" movement in its appearance, and it also looks rather heavy. It is a unicase design, in that there is no real "lowercase." Some glyphs on the uppercase keys are alternates to the capital-style forms found on the lowercase keyboard, like A, E, F, H, J, K, M, N, Q, R, V, W, and Z. In fact, the uppercase itself is a bit more decorated and round than the lowercase. Nevertheless, the upper and lowercase letters may be freely interchanged with each other to create the best possible image for the text. The name of the typeface, Diablo, is another term for the devil, or Satan."

Eclectotype's continuing battle against whitespace continues full cream ahead with Duckie, and fat-bottomed script that packs a whole lotta weight into the softest of punches. The forms feel familiar, like they're straight from funky disco album covers, but this is a 100% original face. Don't let its retro charm dissuade you from taking it for a spin in more contemporary settings; it might just surprise you! Now for the features bit: OpenType features include ligatures, swashes, contextual alternates and stylistic sets. Ammurapi was the last king of Ugarit, which was destroyed circa 1200 B.C. Back then all writing was done by hand and all that has been preserved is on clay tablets many of which were fired in the very destruction of the cities that enabled these documents to withstand the rvages of time. Ugarit unlike the other cuneiform scripts has a very limited number of glyphs. It is somehow exotically attractive. This font has been encoded in the appropriate unicode block to permit ease of use for scholarly purposes, but would also make a fine use as a decorative element.

Galano Classic is the display companion of the Galano Grotesque family. Like the Grotesque family, it also pays tribute to the geometric shapes of Futura, Avant Garde, Avenir and the like. However, instead of that family’s modern interpretation of the geometric genre, Galano Classic prefers to stay in the past, a tendency characterized by a moderate x-height and details like the long stretched leg of uppercase “R”, as well as the traditional shaped lowercase “g”, to mention only a few details. Galano Classic, compared to Galano Grotesque, includes lots of redesigned glyphs and consequently adjusted kerning pairs, an extended number of alternative characters, ligatures and opentype features to match a great many design applications. It comes in 10 different weights with matching italics containing 555 glpyhs per font. Although Galano Classic was planned to be the display version of Galano Grotesque, it feels great in small sizes and long text passages, too.

Voluta Script is the work of Austrian designer Viktor Solt, created for use in a guide to the Austrian Gallery at Castle Belvedere. A volute (Latin voluta") is a spiral or scroll-shaped ornament used in the Baroque architecture of Castle Belvedere, similar to the swashes in this typeface. The castle was the historic residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy, one of the great military commanders of the 18th century and a prominent figure in Austrian history. When asked to create a typeface based on the calligraphy of the period to illustrate Eugene's epic, Solt turned for inspiration to Kurrent writing, a cursive blackletter style. Solt created a hybrid style that embodies the rhythm and basic forms of its ancestors, with large capitals, dark vertical strokes, and flourished beginning and ending characters. The typeface was designed to be used in sizes of 24 points and greater. Voluta Script allows designers to evoke the Baroque era or to lend a hint of majestic grace to contemporary typesetting."

Sildetas is an elegant high-contrast script face. Sildetas was conceived as non-connected, high-contrast and ultra heavy script, as best exemplified by the Black weight. However, it was too much of a temptation to design a hairline variant, and this exploration gave the family’s lighter weights an elegant, graceful feel. The script was modified further to use connected letterforms as the primary glyphs. With its unique swirled ball terminals, this versatile script draws immediate attention. The face glides and flows across the page and the swirling ball terminals provide an interesting diversion to the flow. The lighter weights have an almost spencerian look. Sildetas includes six weights and is a very unique script face. Lighter weights can be used for elegant invitiations. Sildetas can get the job done for many unique design tasks.
