Tudor Perpendicular is Greater Albion's seasonal Black letter release (not that we rule out the possibility of non-seasonal ones...) for 2012. As the name suggests, it is a design which emphasises, and yes, exaggerates for effect, the perpendicular up and down nature of Black Letter typefaces. There's no particular historical basis for this one - straight out of our own minds, just as a lot of Black letter 'revivals' have been over the years. Come and visit 'Ye Olde' world today...

Qonora is an innovative new sans-serif text face that combines flowing, almost calligraphic strokes with a post-modern sensibility for a look that works as well on the printed page as it does on screen. Its comfortable proportions and no-nonsense streamlining (note the lack of spurs, serifs or any unnecessary ornamentation) make it an excellent choice for legibility even at very small point sizes. Qonora includes a true italic, drawn independently from the Roman. Strokes for the italic have been re-weighted to complement the Roman, and idiosyncratic italic glyphs have been substituted where appropriate. The typeface’s extensive Hebrew implementation (including diacritics and cantillation marks) is an important part of its character. The Latin, Cyrillic and Greek ranges of the face maintain a consistent ethic of form and function.

Churchward Isabella is a five weight typeface family originally designed during the 1980's by the late type designer Joseph Churchward, from New Zealand. A straightforward, geometric sans serif, it is a no-nonsense, highly legible workhorse design, readable on screen as well as in print, for text, headline and display. The family includes Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and Extra Bold.

Extra Crunchy is my handwriting when I am eating cookies while drawing! No, it's true! I did eat a whole box of cookies while drawing this font! :) The letters are a bit jumpy, and have no steady x-height, however, your text may look a bit off, but it is clear and legible. Fits perfect for a children's book, a postcard/poster design or something else that needs that extra crunch :)

Italic type was invented by Aldus Manutius in 1499 or 1501, first, before to be a style name, it was a plain font familly name. This Italique style font was inspired from these who was used by Jean de Tournes in Lyon (France) to print La mÈtamorphose d'Ovide figurÈe, a splendid book with numerous gothic style wood carved pictures. The original font contains almost all modern usual characters except accented ones, no longer in use on that time. They have been added, with some others, with respect for the original design. . TELEPATH Telepath by Coniglio Type, first appeared in 1998. It is now in opentype .otf as of 2021. Telepath is a master sampling of a Royal office typewriter of industrial strength provided by the Miller Furniture store, of Dunkirk, New York. It had a baseline set of numbers to make accounting practices easy and line up nicely on the statements. (No gentile old fashioned numerical ascenders and descenders.) Yet, for a a rather old and stolid machine, it was very luxurious and built to definitely take the test of time. Cudo's for Royal Typewriter Company, is all I can say. The set of images were very carefully gathered and has fallen into the preferred category for a typewriter font that has it all. The font has exceptional value as a text font -and- a display font. Etruscania font is base on Anchient Etruscan Alphabet. The Etruscan alphabet is an Ancient Italian alphabet used by the Etruscans, an ancient civilization of the central and northern lands, to write their language, from around 700 BC to around 100 AD. The Etruscan alphabet took inspiration from the Phoenician alphabet. The earliest known Etruscan abecedarium inscribed on an ivory wax tablet frame, measuring 8.8x5 cm, was found at Marsiliana near Grosseto, Tuscany in Italy. It dates from around 700 BC.

Madiffure is a modified neo-grotesk gothic font; this font basically has no consistency in several letter styles, so this font looks unique and bolder in its application of letter development. And this font is suitable for bolder and more modern design themes to apply to certain design uses. On the other hand, we also paid attention to making this font more pleasing to the eye so that it is more comfortable to read even at the smallest size. Containing over 100 ligatures, Epistula is a loosely written font, resembling my own natural way of writing. It has a nice flow and the pointy tail-ends give it a certain speed. Creating Epistula has been a long process, but returning to the drawing board a few times has – in my humble opinion – paid off. This font comes in two weights: regular and medium. Because sometimes one flavour just isn’t enough…

Based on the type style used for the Superior Sign and Chart Printer No. 929, this simple and clean sans serif font was perfectly suited for use by teachers in the classroom and for businesses and organizations that needed to make signs, price cards, charts and notices. Digitally redrawn as Schoolroom JNL, it is available in both regular and oblique versions. The Superior Marking Equipment Company [formerly of Chicago] was not only a major supplier of materials for the rubber stamp industry, but for most of its existence manufactured date and numbering stamps, sign and chart printers (such as the one used for this font), and a line of children’s printing toys (amongst other items).

The Vtg Stencil series of fonts from astype are based on real world stencils.
