This humanistic sans serif distinguishes itself by its Japanese calligraphy influence. Being written with a felt tip rather than with a brush, its Japanese connotation is remote and non-dominant, thus providing excellent readability and a charm of its own. Parametra is a very elegant and modern typeface achieved by the strong form reduction of the individual characters and at the same time harmonizing them by given parameters. It is something of its own, but quite legible and well-suited for small text. Also, Parametra and Bohemian can be mixed perfectly since their proportions and dimensions are the same.

Caterina, was selected personally by Francis Ford Coppola for the film he produced called The Legend of Suriyothai. It's not the credits, but text placed in the center of the screen to introduce information about the setting, the characters, and so on. Something like chapter headings in a book, or the text in silent movies.

Bupkis literally means ‘goat’s dropping’ in Yiddish, but it is used to say ‘nothing, zero, zilch’. Bupkis is a very nice handmade font. A little formal, a little uneven, a little unusual. Use for it whatever you like, but product packaging, cards and book covers do come to mind. Comes with a lot of diacritics.

Actually there is nothing furious about this font. There are no sharp edges and absolutely nothing harmful at all. The name plays tricks on you, because it's a cool laid back font with ounces of possibilities. I'd say you can use the Fake Fury font for posters, flyers, comics, invitations, commercials, toys, candy, clothing, packaging ... ahhh, the list goes on and on! Each letter was carefully handdrawn and soften a bit with rounded edges. And each letter has a total of 6 different versions: upper- and lowercase, and then 4 alternate versions. And the magic happens AS you type, because the font is programmed to automatically cycle through all the different letter variations!

JP2 has some special roots being inspired by the actual handwriting of Pope John Paul II. Franciszek Otto took this source material and transformed it into a high quality font. The result is a rough, but intelligent, design with letters that slightly bounce along the baseline to mimic typical writing. Their short x-height, long extenders, and unique capital letters make this a very beautiful and distinctive typeface. Try it out for greetings, invitations, or posters!

Buchery is handwritten bold and rough font with dry brush texture. This texture is very detailed. Buchery is suitable for logos, shirts, fashion, blogs, websites, product branding, posters, flyers, any print template or for text overlay to any background image. Alternative and swash characters are also available. If you use Adobe / Corel Draw you just block one of the letters / numbers (for swash) and an arrow will appear under the letter, and you can replace it with alternative characters.

Goudy Stout was designed by Frederic W. Goudy in 1930. This version was created by Vincent Connare while at Microsoft. Goudy Stout is a decorative typeface that is quite unusual, a novelty of sorts among Goudy's many typographic achievements. The Goudy Stout font is considered a frivolous typeface. Goudy wrote In a moment of typographic weakness I attempted to produce a 'black' letter that would interest those advertisers who like the bizarre in their print."

Hand lettering found in the September, 1936 issue of the French film publication “La Cinématographie Française” is rendered in a lovely Art Nouveau serif type style. This is now available digitally as French Film JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

SALO – is a hybrid of two Italian typographic worlds. The serif version refers to the beautiful and sophisticated typefaces found on the signs of cafes, restaurants, and fashionable boutiques. Its complemented by the sans variant, inspired by Italian modernism and road signage. All styles are based on the same core but with a totally different expressions. The biggest challenge during the project was designing all of the glyphs compatible to work as a 100% variable font. In the OTF version, SALO has 4 varieties: Serif, Semi Serif, Semi Sans and Sans. The family of these typefaces is suitable both for posters, magazine headlines, and branding purposes where the character will count. It is worth experimenting and combining different varieties with each other. (This font cannot be used to create a logo with the phrase "FRANCO").

Mid Century Sans (MCS) is composed of high-geometric shapes. László Moholy-Nagy —professor in the Bauhaus— said “Typography is a tool of communication. It has to be communication in its most intense form. The emphasis must be on absolute clarity since this distinguishes the character of our own writing from that of ancient pictographic forms.” As same as you can see in modern typefaces in the early twentieth century, MCS has very efficient, clear and minima letterforms. There are not any decorative parts in the skeleton of letters. At the same time, Mid Century Sans has one more feature. In the middle of the twentieth century, one big movement which was called Mid-century modern had occurred. The Mid-century modern movement in the U.S. was an American reflection of the International and Bauhaus movements and it was slightly more organic in form and less formal than the International Bauhaus-style. In other words, it was friendly and stylish. We added Mid-century-spices to the Bauhaus-modernism. The basic letter form is geometric yet it has very friendly strokes and human touch. Mid Century Sans consists of 8 weights and their matching Italics for a wide range of usages. Farther, Mid Century Sans is supporting international Latin languages and basic Cyrillic languages including Basic Latin, Western Europe, Central and South-Eastern Europe. Also MCS covers Mac Roman, Windows1252, Adobe1 to 3. This wide range of international characters expands the capability of your works. Lowercase "a" has OpenType stylistic alternates for advanced typography.

Linotype CoolWool is part of the Take Type Library, featuring winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest. This font was designed by A. Leonardi and P. Wollein, who took their inspiration from clothing labels and care instructions. CoolWool is designed to look like it was stitched, a style of typeface which goes back to the hand embroidery of the time of Biedermeier. CoolWool, however, is a distinctly modern font with a technical feel. The font is not suited for longer texts, but CoolWool is good for shorter texts and headlines, especially because of the possibilities allowed by its three different styles, regular, stone washed (bold) and Cotton Club (outline).

Kongress is a typeface that includes all that is needed for building a proper corporate identity. The design relies on the use of straight lines and a squarish structure for the characters, which provides the text with a compact appearance. This feature helps to save space when required by the typographic composition. The design is also defined by wide counterforms and clean cuts for the strokes. All of this helps the shapes to adapt better to digital environments. Nevertheless, Kongress is not another techno typeface. The slight modulation of the strokes—especially in the italic letterforms—and the large apertures for most characters result in what we will call a techno-humanist style. The squarish structure of a techno-font blends with the calligraphic modulation of a humanist sans serif typeface.

The origin of this typeface is a Polish catalog cover dated 1936, made by I. Rubin. The word ”Graficz” (included in the poster copy) seemed appropriate as a name for this typeface with its typical ”Central European look”. The original letters are more ”thin” (light weight) than the MRF interpretation and only consists of capital letters. Lower cases and almost all standard character signs have been added, in order to make it more functional.

Narziss is a very popular display typeface. People really love the thin hairlines and the swirls. But the basic idea is so strong that I decided to create a text version. The swirls of the display do not work in small sizes but the alternative drops do. So for each weight of Narziss Text, there is a Regular, an Italic and a Drops version. Narziss Text is ideal for fashion magazines, Jewelry or perfumes and may be used in conjunction with Narziss.

Neustade is a layered typeface based on a simple grid, taking inspiration from the work of Wim Crouwel and Foundry Types. I challenged myself to create a typeface where words and letters can appear within or outside of other words and letters with the help of layering. Neustades grid also applies to the spacing and kerning of individual letters or words, ensuring that every layer will line up and allowing different weights to interact with each other. Individually each weight within the Neustade family has been designed with legibility at small sizes in mind, allowing for smooth and uninterrupted reading. Neustade in large sizes feels both modern and retro, especially when mixing weights and colors.

The Book of Kells is a ninth century gospel created in the British Isles and is considered to be the finest existing example of early Celtic art. And the font was immediately awarded! 10 years later, I decided to continue working on it and improve this font. Ring - really circular typeface. I felt inspired by Bauhaus. Early 1900s songwriters had a penchant for devising lengthy titles for their compositions. A perfect example from 1909, "It Is Hard to Kiss Your Sweetheart When the Last Kiss Means 'Good Bye'" is a whopping fourteen words long. The sheet music for this piece has a hand lettered, Art Nouveau sans serif design which became the working model for La Vie Nouveau JNL [which translates to "the new life"], and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Early in my career as a graphic designer I purchased a book on Japanese packaging. With it, I came to notice that Japanese characters used mostly a modicum of strokes. This font was my attempt at trying to balance the familiarity of a Latin alphabet with the unfamiliarity of Kanji and Kana. It was more of a typographical challenge than usual; since going too much in either direction would defeat the purpose. I would like to think that, for the most part, I got the balance right. Hanna has its roots in the Plato and Cilantro fonts published earlier by Wilton Foundry. It is an informal roman and very legible at any size - a rare combination for many applications. Hanna was specifically designed to generate additional income for an orphanage in Ethiopia. Hanna Teshome runs an orphanage of roughly 140 children in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She is an amazing lady with a deep passion for orphan kids as well as innocent kids that find themselves in jail because their mothers have been imprisoned - they are treated as prisoners and are typically sexually abused - it is not uncommon for them to commit suicide when they are released from jail at age 18. Most of the orphans end up with Hanna because one or both of their parents have died from AIDS. Hanna relies entirely on donations to keep her orphanage running and this font is a small but tangible way for you to help make a difference in the lives of the orphan kids. I am committed to helping Hanna after visiting the orphanage several times and seeing the jails from where the kids have been rescued. Hanna is my hero because she stepped out of her comfort zone, with no financial support, to take care of the kids. My hope is that you will use this font as a messenger of good. This typeface was developed for the Different Ground exhibition identity (and that explains the name of the font). The aim was to make an absolutely geometric, constructed font. Sometimes even too geometric and too much into it's own rules. But at the same time to make it look very humane, sometimes imperfect and weird, but alive and not soulless.

Celestina is the lively spirit, just like drops of ink on a piece of paper or clouds in the sky. The same spirit is maintained by the rounded letters of the script and by the characters' small whorls. Celestina has come to life as a result of a peculiar game in which I tried to bring together the letters with different tempers with help of calligraphic instruments. I wanted to create a very light and playful font which would look like a quick inscription on a piece of paper, but would also be easy to read in a text array. As I was working on the font, my cat Celestina has been very interested in the brush painting process, and I had no other option but to name the font after her! Celestina works perfect for both Moomins stories and personal blogs, as well as for the design of hand-made things, and even just then when you want to put yourself into a good mood!

A clean and easy-to-read Aurebesh font, inspired by writing in the Star Wars (TM) movies and at Disney's Hollywood Studios (TM). Includes special characters for CH, AE, EO, KH, NG, OO, SH, and TH. A crispbake is a kind of cracker or rusk you eat for breakfast. At least, in Holland we do. They are called 'beschuit', they are round and they come in a pack of 13 (which is a baker's dozen). It turns out that this odd number of crispbakes in a pack comes from the fact that the ovens they were baked in held 13 crispbakes in a row and it was easier to pack them like that. So, should this question pop up during a game of trivial pursuit, you now know the answer! Crispbake font is a crunchy brush font. Completely handmade using a brush and Chinese ink. This fresh all caps font comes with a set of alternate glyphs and extensive language support, including Vietnamese and Greek.

A pleasant looking slab serif font family which was originally released by the Wagner foundry as hot-metal fonts. These fonts avoid the appearance of being constructed, and this is underlined by the beautiful swash caps in the Italic style.
