Frisco Bay JNL is an entirely original design from Jeff Levine with strong Art Deco influences. A medium weight letter form, this design finds itself at home in any application where a touch of elegance from the past is needed.

The idea of creating this font is based on Koch’s Schmale Deutsche Anzeigenschrift which was released in 1923 by Klingspor in Offenbach, Germany. This font was entirely redrawn and completed with the help of a few basic letters and the numerals.

I am somewhat of a bargain hunter. Not at all cost, mind you, but I like a discount! Having said that, I guess I am not a true bargain hunter, because I only buy stuff I need; not because it is a bargain. I also refuse to buy fake items or products that are unsustainably produced. Bargain Hunter is a font I made with a cheap pencil (a bargain!) and my trusted Chinese Ink (environment friendly). It comes with a set of alternates and all the accents you need. And at this price, it is a genuine bargain!

Rogliano is an affable Slab Serif. On one hand it responds to the classic tenet of strong and direct alphabets of the Industrial Revolution period. Benton Modern was first prepared as a text face by Font Bureau for the Boston Globe and the Detroit Free Press. Design and proportions were taken from Morris Fuller Benton’s turn-of-the-century Century Expanded, drawn for ATF, faithfully reviving this epoch-making magazine and news text roman. The italic was based on Century Schoolbook. This version of the family is part of the Reading Edge series of fonts specifically designed for small text onscreen, having been adjusted to provide more generous proportions and roomier spacing, and having been hinted in TrueType for optimal rendering in low resolution environments.

Pseudo-Hellenic is a font based the Greek typeface of Firmin Didot. The original Greek typeface became standard during the Victorian era and remained popular until the last part of the twentieth century. Pseudo-Hellenic seeks to create an environment reminicent of the many Greek texts and is meant to re-create their ethos while communicating with a non-Greek speaking audience. Pseudo-Hellenic with full punctuation, a character 221 glyph character set that allows the user to type in most Western European Latin alphabet languages. Being a decorative font, it works best at larger point sizes.

Mixta Essential is a contemporary sans-serif typeface with characteristic and defined features. This font was inspired by the idea of mixing different types of terminals in order to give the font a singular appearance. Its design is composed of diverse styles such as Didone and classic typefaces as well as current font trends. This new essential version of Mixta does not include Cyrillic support, alternate styles or OpenType features. Mixta Essential, with a basic language support, has been adapted for optimal use on macOS and Windows environments. Mixta Essential was specially designed for branding, advertising, Tv and social media.

Drawn by master German calligrapher Hermann Zapf in the 1970s, Noris Script captures the magic of the irregularities of pen strokes. The idea behind Noris Script was to bring the spontaneity of a quick handwritten script using a broad-edged pen into the modern typesetting environment. Noris is the Latin name for the German city of Nuremberg, where Hermann Zapf was born and raised. Nuremberg has something special about it, aside from Hermann Zapf, it has a great tradition of writing masters, such as Johann Neudörffer (1497-1563), Wolfgang Fugger (1515-1568), and Rudolf Koch (1876-1934).

Merel is a modern geometric typeface with humanist attributes. Geometry and logic are at the heart of this 6 weight font family. Humanist touches give it a number of distinctive characteristics, as well as aid legibility. Despite being rational and function driven in its nature, Merel has a soft and gentle touch. It was designed to tackle both print and onscreen challenges of the modern environment. Details include reduced x-height, mild stroke contrast and vertically sheared terminals with cushioned finish across the typeface. Lucida Calligraphy is a chancery cursive script typeface family designed by Kris Holmes and Charles Bigelow. OTC Eugen is a geometric grotesque with industrial socialist aspect. It is a somewhat brute interpretation of the graphic environment and old era typography found around cities or in the country side in Romania. It works best as a display typeface used in big titles, in branding projects for clear wordmarks, or around the house where you can just go wild and make your own mark with the stencil version. Copenhagen has been in need of a typeface that unites the city’s many visual expressions. The three designers Morten Rostgaard Olsen, Henrik Birkvig and Ole Søndergaard have designed and developed the typeface FP København. Now available from MyFonts in 44 styles: Serif & sans serif, uprights & italics, small caps, pictos-characters, stencils, sprayed style, OT-features, ligatures, contextual alternates etc. The shapes of the letters are inspired by the city’s culture and the visual environment and design in Denmark in the 20th century. Motiva Sans is the chosen typeface for Valve’s Steam OS, a 125.000.000+ users gaming platform. The Daytona™ typeface family grew out of a desire to provide improved fonts for use in televised sporting events.
