Squickt was the first script I designed. The name is an atrocity, I don't remember what was on my mind, when I decided on that name, but after 25 years it is to late to change, so I have to stick with it. I have recently gone over the script and changed a little stroke here, a curve there and I added Small-Caps. The font is very useful for all kinds of signs, that have to look spontaneous. For decades, the Persian-born Naghi Naghashian has been working as a graphic designer and illustrator in Germany. Arian™ is his first commercial Arabic typeface. Named after his mother, Naghi created the Arian typeface family after years of systematically analyzing the Arabic script. The Arian design is sought to fulfill the many needs and was developed for multiple languages and writing conventions. It's extremely legibilitable not only in small sizes, but also when the type is filtered or skewed. This typeface offers a fine balance between calligraphic tradition and the contemporary sans serif aesthetic now common in Latin typography.

I work as a comic letterer for an Italian publisher. I created this font to write the Italian version of a Batman comic. We needed a style of writing that simulated imprecise handwriting that could change in letters and space. I didn't have one, so I decided to make one by myself. It is the first font created with criteria, and after having adjusted it, I propose it to you here. Valid for lettering comics, or for titles and graphic design when you need a simulated handwritten note, which is credible but still easy to manage.

The 1960s was the most tumultuous decade of the 20th century. Sixties Symbols JNL collects twenty-six icons and phrases from that time of change and unrest including the peace symbol, a dove, a daisy—even the militant 'power fist' that signified rebellion against mainstream society. There's also a blank lapel button on the Y/y keys and a blank protest poster on the Z/z keys for your own special message. For the more daring, the left and right brace Keys {and } have the 'one finger salute' the radical hippie factions displayed generously. Use that one with discretion!

Altruiste is a decorative slab serif typeface with distinctive sharp features. It was inspired by the idea of ​​duplicating elements, conveying typeface a unique look. This family was inspired by the two fonts used by the famous William Caxton in Westminster (UK) in the late 1400s. There is only one (Normal) style. We have added the accented characters and others not in use in the early time of printing, but the ligatures and the few abbreviations for the Old English language and Latin were present in the original fonts. The original cap height is about five to seven millimeters. Decorated letters like 1495 Lombardes, 1512 Initials, 1550 Arabesques, 1565 Venetian, and 1584 Rinceau can be used in complement with this font without anachronism.

Since 2017, I have been improving my font creating skills. In the same year, I went through my father's notes and decided to make a font with his handwriting style. I completed the initial version with a lower number of glyphs in 2018. It supported only basic Latin, Turkish, and Azerbaijani alphabets. On the 15th of January 2021, my dad will turn 60. Unlike previous dingbat fonts released from Lanston Type Co., Archive Ornaments derives from a unique collection of brass ornament plates that were originally used in creating the matrices for casting metal type. Using the plates as a reference point allowed for a more precise rendering of the ornaments. Letterpress prints were made directly from the brass plates, which were then re-drawn and digitized. Each character has been optimized for the combination of decorative borders and patterns as well as individual accentuation. The completed digitized font contains over 100 glyphs, ranging in style from geometric to organic designs.

Jozef is a serif typeface family with modern character and a firm voice. It is equally suited to setting text on screen and in print. Ant Serif is a font that can be used for advertising, logo creation, webfonts and more. The font comes in two styles, Regular and Italic and has all the characters in the Latin Basic, Additional and Extended scripts. The font's design came from my love of Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp logo. The typeface used, which was custom, was of interest for me, so I decided to create it as a font. Linotype Irish Text is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. German artist Torsten Weisheit designed this font based on Irish scripts of the 5th century. Characteristic of this style is the mixture of upper case letters in the mostly lower case alphabet and vice versa. The letters look as though written with a broad tipped pen and have triangular serifs, displaying a decorative tendency akin to that of Irish calligraphy. Linotype Irish Text is intended exclusivley for headlines in large point sizes.

Whenever I see clippings on TV of demonstrations, protesting against this or that, with people holding up signs, I am surprised about the signs being professionally printed or plotted in Helvetica or Futura condensed. I've even seen signs in Zapfino! That doesn't really cut it, it doesn't look much like a real protest. So I decided to give the protesting world a real good font for the occasion. In German a Revolte is an uprising, I thought that was a good name for the font. Hasta la victoria siempre from your revolutionary type designer Gert Wiescher.

Isotonic started out as a spin-off with the idea of creating a text oriented version of Ciutadella, it has since taken on a life of its own. Building on a foundation that has proven to work very well, we decided to open the counters and increase the x height. Even though it is not strictly a text font, it works surprisingly well in body sizes and screens. The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper's Feast is a 70's concept album/rock opera by Deep Purple's Roger Glover. The music video to Love Is All, featuring a lute playing frog in a cape, must be one of the best videos ever made. At least, I believe so. When working on this font, the song popped up in my head (it is still there), so I decided to name this cute, cartoonish font after the album. Butterfly Ball is a fun and happy typeface with rounded glyphs and an uneven baseline. Of course it comes with a hallucinatory range of diacritics.

Kanna Aoki was designing fabrics and dishware for several major manufacturers when she designed MVB Cafe Mimi. The design came from a few words Aoki painted as decoration for a set of cappuccino cups. Aoki created the Regular weight for MVB Fonts using a brush. The Bold was adapted after digitization. Using several double-letter ligatures, the fonts can feel as natural and spontaneous as the original hand-painted lettering. Despite its curlicues and free-flowing forms, great care was taken to keep this script balanced and legible. It skips and hops along the baseline but doesn't lose its step.

In the 1990s I drew a text face for the San Francisco Chronicle. It was based on W. A. Dwiggins’ Electra and incorporated many features of the Linotype Legibility Series: More compact, with a taller lowercase X-height, etc. That type was called Electric and it was the Chronicle’s text face for nearly a decade, surviving several redesigns. From that, I made Azuza, a more detailed and sensitive style. Azuza was recognized in the TDC2 type competition in 2001. Then it went into hibernation as a Type 1 font family. Today it is back. Six fonts. Open Type.
