Hey guys, I just launched thesnark.org to raise awareness of a new punctuation mark, the snark. Its a mark for showing irony or sarcasm at the end of a sentence. It was fine-tuned by a group of type designers, some of who's work is all over this site. Several of my own typefaces already include it.
At the new site, you can see banners, the history, which goes back farther than you might think, and learn more about it. There is nothing we are selling, just promoting a free idea! To make a new punctuation catch on we have to spread the word,. So, here I am, and if you like it, please do the same. - Everybody loves the snark.~

Here's a font, made of trees, or, at least, bits of wood. Someone posted an antique specimen picture online, hoping it would get made into a scalable face. It did. Hope you all enjoy too.
I even added numerals, a 'J' and a modern 'U', (the old 'U' is still there as a 'V') along with some essential punctuation. This style is made for those big initial dropped capitals, or a short word. This is not for strings of lengthy text.
This font is released under the creative commons, so you are welcome to open it up, poke around in it, and add or modify the characters, if you are into that sort of thing. - re: !limberjack, normal

Inspired by German blackletters, and offered as a contemporary alternative to the Latin designs, "!The Black Bloc" is at once decorative and legible.
Have fun with the font, and if you do anytihng interesting, send me a line! Thanks for your time. - re: !The Black Bloc
