Abdo Salem is the second version of the font FS_Salem which was designed by the type designer Abdulsamie Rajab Salem for Future Soft company fonts. It is a leading company in Arabization field and producing the Arabic and Islamic programs beside the children programs. This font appeared between 1998 and 2000. In this version there were a lot of adjustments to keep the font in its spirit and uniformity between the various characters. Also added some new characters, which gave him another beautiful addition to be used in both title and text designs. Three weights (Light, bold and black) have been created. Then the font was converted to OpenType to support Arabic, Persian and Urdu to be compatible with the various operation systems and modern software. Sole Serif is a newspaper face with features relating to book typography. Inspiration from Francesco Griffo’s romans was adapted to resist the rough usage typical of newspaper printing without any loss of quality. Corton was inspired by the traditional lettering on a gravestone in an English village. While that might sound a rather solemn beginning, Corton has wonderfully lively air, with distinctive lively serifs and beautifully swashed downstrokes. The Kensington Runestone is a rune-covered slab of brownstone that was claimed to have been discovered in central Minnesota in the United States in 1898. Olof Öhman, a Swedish immigrant, reported that he dug it out of a field in the largely rural town of Solem in Douglas County. It was then named after the nearest settlement, Kensington. The inscription claims to be a record left behind by Scandinavian explorers in the 14th century (internally dated to 1362). ITC Musclehead is the work of type designer Timothy Donaldson, a robust, densely packed handwriting typeface. It almost looks like brushwork but was in fact made with a ruling pen which Donaldson had bought from a company in Salem, Massachusetts. He says, The world's gone ruling-pen mad at the moment [late 1990s] and I was beginning to tire of all the skinny splashiness of the letters that most people were making with them. I wanted to do something heavy and robust with the tool, so that's what I did.""

Basim Marah is an Arabic display typeface and is useful for titles and graphic projects. The font is based on the simple lines of free style calligraphy. A collaborative effort, Basim Marah was designed and drawn by Basim Salem Al Mahdi from Iraq and then digitalized as a typeface by Hasan Abu Afash from Palestine. In November, 2008, Basim Marah was upgraded by working with Mirjam Somers an award-winning Arabic type designer to the DecoType font format for use in WinSoft Tasmeem which is now bundled with InDesign CS4.

Friar Pro is a revival of Frederic W. Goudy's "Friar" typeface. Goudy described this typeface design as a 'typographic solecism' as it combines a lowercase of half-uncial forms from the 4th through 7th centuries with an uppercase of square capitals from the 4th century. Steve Matteson developed the font as a tribute to Goudy and his joy of typographic exploration. Steve created a complete character set with OpenType typographic enhancements to give the font an authentic appearance to the original. Friar Pro is a beautiful design which imparts a scribal appearance to any document including greeting cards, certificates and official papers.

Guenter type got its name after Guenter Gnauck — the calligrapher from Eastern Germany whose works brought an inspiration and initial incitement for the design. But in contradiction to the calligraphic nature of the inspiration source Guenter has a specific construction that is built solely with straight stems. Like KvadratZ family Guenter belongs to so called 'in-one-touch' series. The first version in one basic style was developed by Zakhar Yaschin in 2001. In 2009 the font was redesigned with addition of 3 new styles and released by ParaType as a family.
