In itself I think there is nothing wrong with asking the same question in more than one place, more chances of getting an ID. Would be pleasant and polite though when this was mentioned or at least when an answer was given somewhere else that was said so that we could stop searching here ... or there. If I would be Hercule Poirot I would say, that Celina - as a good girl - made a quick research about some "spanish looking font" as she didn't kow how to describe the typeface she has in mind. And she came to the actual posting, where she posted her request (on 2006-07-31 01:17:00). Then she thought "Hmm, maybe a sample would be great for all the people here …" and she - as a polite forum-member - opened her own thread just 34 minutes later. (on 2006-07-31 01:51:14). But as I'm not Hercule Poirot, not even a Belgian citizen, I repeat: Espania IS a good choice and you hear my applaude over the borders. :-D - re: Old Spanish font

Hi Barb, sorry have no exact match for you. If you could provide a sample with better quality (with more details in the serifs) chances are that one here may get close. Here some digital substitutes for a start: Adobe Caslon Pro (have a look in the Glyph Complement PDF down below to get the alternates for the ampersand). Zapf International URW Artcraft Hints: Please wait some hours until Koeiekat, Heron, Mr. McGee et al are showing up (we all live in differeent time zones), they can help you better, I'm sure. Post (a better) sample at the Type ID-forum from Typophile or at the Whatthefont-forum. There are many more brains there to help solve the problem.
