A collection of traditional American patchwork quilt motifs in a decorative font package. Over 80 designs, to be used as free-standing illustrations, in borders, or as an overall pattern. Several designs will work together into a pattern.

African Patchwork was inspired by my observation that many traditional African patterns have strong similarities to the patterns of the American quilting tradition. I chose one of the patterns from the African Pattern Font 04 - Mali (based on traditional bogolan mud cloth designs) that reminded me of quilting patterns and superimposed it onto the Zim Black characters, to create a fusion of African and American design.

Scruff was designed by Timothy Donaldson in 1995. This cheerful, laid-back font is made out of a variety of different fragments - stripes, dots, zigzags and more, giving each character its own identity. When brought together into words and sentences, the figures create a playful chaos like that of a patchwork quilt. To bring out its individual details, Scruff is best used in headlines in larger point sizes or as initials.

Make an impact with geometric cubes! The Cubista Geometrica typeface is a monospaced design created to form repeated patterns, either individually (single symbol) or mix and matched with partner charaters. Each image is accessed through the standard keyboard—instead of letters, you'll get an image or glyph. This monospaced typeface is designed proportionately high as it it wide making it easy to form multi-line patchworks. The combination possibilities are enormous—this font comes with a PDF guide showing many of the assembly options, the rest we leave to your own imagination!

Quilt Patterns Three is based on the nine patch pattern, a block that is 3 squares by 3 squares, the most basic and most common. The nine patch pattern can be subdivided into 6 squares by 6 squares, 9 squares by 9 squares, etc. Characters of Quilt Patterns Three can be typed in a vector drawing program and then converted to paths/outlines, color may then be added to various parts of a given pattern. Patterns can be stacked horizontally and vertically creating an infinite number of quilt designs.
