Mesh Stitch has a hand-stitched look, with the capital letters/numbers being nine cross-stitches tall (+ about 3 stitches for accents). To make the font look authentic, I stitched some characters using wool and took photographs which were turned into glyphs. As a result, none of the cross-stitches are symetrical and some are at a slightly at an angle, because I didn't want the font to feel mechanical. As a result, the font has a cute, homely character to it. It is particularly good for large displays/headlines.

Mesa is a revival of an old pointed Tuscan font from the MacKellar Smiths and Jordan type foundry called Broad Gauge circa 1874. This new version offers a few alternates including half slab and full slab uppercase A's. Opentype case sensitive forms are also included in the Mesa font family. We started production on this font in 2009 but set it aside to work on other projects, we're pleased to have finally finished it. Inspired by the old Stephenson Blake Caps only font Algerian from 1908, this version, named Algerian Mesa, has been freshened up with a new matching lowercase. The original Algerian, on page 142 of the 1908 Stephenson Blake specimen book, was a small caps to a more decorative lining caps and the plain black version, without the shadow line, was named Gloria. Also on page 142 of the 1908 Stephenson Blake specimen book is a shaded Latin font that gave me the idea for the Alt version of Algerian Mesa. The Alt version works well at smaller point sizes combined with the regular Algerian Mesa font on the same page. New for 2016 were Opentype features including original alternates, oldstyle numerals and case sensitive forms, also new is a fully usable Alt version. New for 2022 are the higher x-height, 90% small caps, 80% small caps and all new italic versions. Also new for 2022 are straight sided accent marks replacing the flared or curved accents. While Algerian Mesa includes some alternates our related Tavern font will still remain the version with more alternates and more weights.

Alta Mesa is a revival of an old type design from the 1800's that was sold by most of the type foundries in the US and Europe of that time period so it is difficult to know the foundry of origin. New with this version are the fill fonts and plain styles, the fill fonts may be used as stand alone fonts, however the letter spacing is much wider, the plain versions are recommended if you desire a solid black weight. The regular Fill font is in registration with the Regular and Open versions while the Fill L font is in registration with the L and Open L versions. This was a very charming font in its time which was heavily used on old billheads and letterheads. We're pleased to bring this type design, which hasn't been used for over 100 years, into the digital world today.

A travel poster from the 1940s for Mexican tourism provided the inspiration for this voluptuous font with a strong architectural feel. A few unexpected idiosynracies in the letterforms add to its charm. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Big, expansive and flat on top; that’s a land formation called a mesa. “Mesa” was the first name for Strata Bold Rounded Serif, but it turns out it’s someone else’s registered trademark; in any case, if you need a bold, extended mono-height font that’s great for logotype, you could, as we used to say in the Mid-West, do a whole lot worse. SBRS is the final generation of an evolution that started with Mesa begating Mesa Bold which begat Mesa Bold Rounded which culminated in this evolutionary superior product. Use it!

Slightly messed up...

Multicross font was designed by Dmitry Greshnev in 2003-2004 and is licensed by ParaType. Mesh creates the basic structure for this font. Multicross has Regular and Rounded styles. For use in advertising and display typography. Can be used as a screen font with anti-aliasing function switched off.

Mulkshake is messed up pretty good, and was acutually made on a real bad copymachine!

Hyperspit is really the CAPS of my other font Family Cat. They are just messed up pretty good!
