Grundee is a grungy serifed face. It is sloppy and irregular but still quite legible. It was one of several efforts to draw a serifed typeface by pen; see also SarahfSlob, which contains a complete family of styles.

Grungy Old Typewriter is based on two typed letters, each on two pages and dated 1901. The results are eroded, rough, irregular and grungy. The final results are a vintage look. As a designer, I wanted as much flexibility as possible, so there are six versions that are designed to work together. Additionally, I decided to keep the grunge and irregularities within the shape and not include surrounding typewriter or paper marks. I leave it to the design to add those elements as desired. One note, the letter spacing is much tighter than an old typewriter. I felt that readability for modern readers suffered from the added space. Of course, you can get that same look by increasing the letter spacing in your favorite design program.

Mad Cash is punked, grunged and shattered - all at the same time! When viewed at a small scale, the font seems grungy - but the larger you view it, the more shattered details appears!

Dynamic Outfit is actually another one of my fonts (Universitet) cut and slightly rotated into a grunge font. To make the font more realistic and grungy, I have added 8 different versions of each letter - and these different versions automatically cycle as you type!

Grunge is not dead! Neither is punk! The proof is the Overbeat font! It has got both grunge and punk in the one and same. The letters are grungy, and punked up with a sort of halftone slime effect. It's hard, it's tough and perhaps even scary! Play around with the font and you'll quickly notice the variety of the font. Each lowercase letter has 4 different versions and there is ligature substitution for most common uppercase double letters!

We are calling for a boycott against petty power struggles. Uppercase and Lowercase are slightly different from each other. Can noise be a beautiful sound? Well, I guess...because the other day when I was playing the good old Bleach album by Nirvana (which I consider lovely grunge music!) my wife yelled "Could you stop that noise?!" - and I answered "What noise?!" - ha-ha-ha! Anyway, I finished this font while listening to that particular lovely noise, and I knew that this crunchy, grungy, handmade and full of contextual alternates and multilingual font had to be named something with the word "noise" in it!

Spekulatus is a made up name, and that was what I needed for a font like this. I am not sure which category it fits in: grunge, square, handmade, rough or maybe even graffiti? Well, let's just say that it fits in all 5 - or perhaps even more? All letters are handdrawn, and messed up a bit with a thin fine white liner, leaving a gentle grungy and worn effect. I've added 5 different versions of each letter, which is quite nice - not having the same letters repeating all the time!
