 I am looking for a block font that looks as if it was the blueprint or design plans of an architect. A font called blueprint exisists but I am looking more for something that appears as if each letter was hand created, maybe with scribbles and crop or tick marks. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for the font used on the side of the Ireland Rail Inter City trains that reads "Inter City" It may be a custom so if you know of a similar font that I could adjust that would be fine. I prefer free fonts.

Oh thank you, but – ahem – this is so distinctive. BTW it seems to be the masthead from a popular magazine called Blueprint.

Seems easy enough, yet tricky. The ones that pop to mind are BarbeDisplaySSK, Big City, Black Tie Display SSi, Broad Avenue, Broadway (as you mentioned) and Ritz FLF.
As usual, no guarantee that the list is complete.
For 1950's American Diner Broadway should do but Big City or Broad Avenue are probably the one used (just a bit thicker. The nicest one, I think, is the original Ritz FLF. The text PALOOKAVIIE is a different story. Looks like the others but is not. K and E flipped would help but the P doesn't come close at all.
I'll see what I can find ...

Hi all you font maniacs! :D
I'm looking for a free font or fonts that does something similar to Pacioli, that is, have that whole 'blueprint/schematic' thing going on.
