1 posts view forum post #24475 Hi,
@koeiekat:As far as I know the Olde English is the only one with that A.
No, this A is typicaly an Engravers' Old English (Monotype, Bitstream). The "real" Old English without "Engravers'" is based on Caslons Cloister Black (told me identifont) and has a swirl on the right top. Old English: http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/urw/old-english/ But this is not standardisized: The Monotype Old English is an Engravers' Old English. There are two flavours of Old English. Engravers' Old English: http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/bitstream/engravers-old-english/ http://moorstation.org/typoasis/designers/steffmann/samples/o/oldeEngl.htm Ok, in real live it dosn't make difference.
